UCF-- U Can't Finish.. funny story is that a friend of mine's undergraduate program changed classes 1/2 way through and a ton of his req classes were apparently not transferable into the new program at the same school. Ended up having to take a huge test so he didn't have to re take the new classes.. pretty hilarious .

Tri C- (cleveand community college)- Can't get into A, can't get into B.. TRI C

I am as Anti-Hoo as the next person, but when they go to the College World series and have been a #1 seed in the NCAAs, it's tough to use this one. But you could put this on their football jersey for sure.

Sidebar: There's a community college next to the small regional airport in my home area that we call UCLA, or University Closest to Local Airport.

Yep... these people need to realize the only reason most of those tickets are on StubHub is in an effort to get one of those "way too good to pass up" offers for their tickets. I have 2 tickets, and if someone is willing to pay me >$1k for each ticket, have fun and enjoy the experience. Otherwise, I'm going to be there cheering on the team. I suspect I'm not the only one with similar thoughts.

I'm not sure where this whole "must protect feelings" movement began, but it I can think of quite a few dead comedians who wouldn't have made it today because the things they said to make jokes and make points would have been too harsh for somebody.

Yeah, I hear this a lot. Which is all good and dandy, until you realize this guy has his own TV show:

Tired of hearing about how soft America is becoming. Maybe we're just starting to realize that its really not acceptable to be shitheads for the sake of being a shithead. Bigots are getting weeded out, and that's not a bad thing.

I think Duke takes a step back this year, but it's not as if they haven't been ahead of us the last two years...

I sure UM has the team ready for you guys while respecting you at the same time. They'll be confident, but not cocky; no doubt your team will be the same. You guys will have a slight advantage in the psychological department because as the underdogs you have something to prove and I personally always found that provided just a bit more motivation when we played someone.

As for tickets, I've seen folks asking about them and looking at StubHub and seeing sky high prices; so some feel prices might drop closer to game time. I doubt there will be a lot of them for sale at the game, simply because of the hype surrounding the game.

As for playing at night, we've played a few big games at night in the Horseshoe so we're used to big games in a loud and challenging environment.

That picture of Bud Foster is classic. He looks like he is staring at Columbus and thinking "Bring it on. We're ready!" with the stash/goatee adding a touch of badass. I am really looking forward to see what he does, because it will give us a chance to see how well we've adapted to some key loses as well as give some insights into what other coaches may try down the road.

I'm a big 12 gauge fan but I'm thinking JT will start. He's seems to be a better passer form a technique and accuracy standpoint where as 12 Gauge is a ram it down your throat or launch a rocket kinda guy. You may see 12 Gauge in short yardage, red zone situations similar to Leak / Tebow at UF where 12 Gauge is the situational guy. With him, Zeke and Miller in the backfield that has to give Foster some concern as all 3 are running threats to go along with the screen pass or even a long ball. Do you 1 on 1 the receivers there and risk a throw, or a handoff to Miller followed by a pass?

I agree, thats a great perspective Alum. I hadn't realized how far in the hole ESPN actually was. I dont think theyre going anywhere any time soon, but damn theyre in a worse position than I thought

Edit: Forgot to add, both wahoos on board claimed, seriously, that they'd never even heard of Zima.

They pronounce it "zinfandel"

Did you remind him that we swept them in baseball this year?

Narduzzi is going to be a problem. As much trouble as we have had with Pitt, the last thing we needed was for them to bring in a quality coach. It is like finding out the Boogeyman just got a prescription for Ritalin, so now he can really focus on scaring the shit out of you. Only time will tell if he is as good of a head coach and recruiter as he is a DC. That thorn in our side just got a lot bigger.

Probably not strongly. if the ACC was smart, they'd look to ditch ESPN and move all-in on a subscription based streaming service, like Netflix and Amazon Prime, for everything. We're nearing a tipping point where people are going to be cutting the cable cord in droves, and ESPN has not only been slow to adapt, they're completely adamant against it. They built their empire on forcing all cable subscribers to pay $35/month for ESPN regardless of whether or not they use it, and once that well dries up, they're in a world of trouble.
