A stark difference from Game 1 2013. The #BEATBAMA shirts were a good bit of fun, but I'm not sure who really thought we had a legitimate shot in that one.
Kinda speaks to the way things are headed program-wise.
Within the University System of Maryland, we call them UMCP (College Park). Interestingly, both the College Park and Baltimore campuses can simply call themselves "University of Maryland." Since the Baltimore campus was the Founding Campus, and the College Park campus is the flagship university of the system, they are sort of given equal footing. So around here, it's UMB (for Baltimore), UMBC (Bmore county), UMCP, etc.

# | Hokies Ponder How to Best the Buckeyes Again, as Excitement Builds for "Most Anticipated Game Ever" Watching on TV last year I got the distinct impression that OSU fans who turned out for the game that evening were like those merry ladies and gentleman of Washington who came out with lunch, lawn chairs and umbrellas to watch the Union troops send the southern army scampering home during the first battle of Bull Run. It was going to be such jolly sport. Maybe not all know how that turned out, but suffice it to say the Second Bull run didn't go much better.

Not saltwater, but I went trout fishing the other day and got 3, including a pretty nice rainbow. 
Yup. It's like how you know to freak out when the weatherman gets worried about a storm.
Or loluva thinking about the whole season...
...which is nice.

Granted that game was close, but JT carried the team to victory on a bum knee. Part of the reason I think he will get the nod, Cardale has never dealt with a truly hostile crowd, JT has twice at PSU and MSU.

# | Hokies Ponder How to Best the Buckeyes Again, as Excitement Builds for "Most Anticipated Game Ever" While I agree that Lane will doubt be noise than the Horseshoe my general comment is that we've played in such environments before so it won't be that big of a shock, for example Camp Randall at Wisconsin which is ranked as one of the loudest stadiums in college football. Penn State has hit 122 db and TTUN 110 db; which is different than seismic activity, or else jets would be recoding earthquakes all day long, but indicative of noise levels. I'm not arguing that Lane will be one o fetch loudest games we ever played in, I just don't think it will be much of a factor in the game. As someone else pointed out, the key to taking the crowd out is to shock them by scoring quickly and often to build up a lead; that tends to quit things down.
As for seismic activity, LSU-Auburn played the "Earthquake Game" and some Iron Bowls registered as well.

ESPN doesn't care about the ACC at all unless its FSU. They only care about the pac-12 and Big 10, CBS is all gaga over SEC
We beat them at Duke last year, so we got that going for us
