Is Nick Saban's pending retirement holding Alabama back? Seriously, he's 5 years and 2 weeks younger than Frank. We've been hearing "Frank is too old and will retire soon" for longer than 5 years now, and yet somehow it sticks with us and not other.

I hate this bullshit argument, and really wish our Athletic Department would do something to officially shut it up.

IMO Beamer is here for 2 more years maybe could sneak a 3rd year in. If he gets to 3 I could maybe see CM coming to Blacksburg, if its 2 years for Beamer I would be willing to put my mortgage on the line that CM will still be at SMU.

CM- 6 year $2 million annually. my guess is his buyout is close to the one he had at Clemson of 5.2 mil.. that's top dollar. Would VT go after someone like that or just try and pry d'antonio or arians or P.J. Fleck? the options will be a plenty when the time comes that's for sure.

I dont even remember writing this... Anyway a year later and Im getting ready to move again *facepalm* luckily its in-town so hopefully it wont be too bad. I just added my future residence since the move is happening in two weeks.

On a different note, anyone having as much fun as I am reading super old comments??

S/O to Joe from North Korea lol

Yet another high achieving Thoroughbred... all that's left is for Andrew Brown to finish his career as a back-up offensive guard. (i'm going to ignore Quinn Blanding :-)

Agreed, he was very good. Remember how much consternation there was about WR's not catching the ball with the guy before him (was his name Sherman too?)? It was brutal. Even going back to Tony Ball, who became a very good coach at UGA, there was a lot of WR inconsistency. AMo had a huge impact from Day 1.

I think Chad is at SMU to get experience to be the next HC at higher level school. Yeah, he's a Texas guy and it's nice to build that experience in your home state, but Chad Morris wants to be a big time HC one day. Personally I hope he does it in Blacksburg.

Just wanted to bump this for any newbies on the site.
In the beer thread yesterday there were a pair that figued out they live in the same complex.....

Feel free to let it slip back down, but add yourself to the map!!!

Bring in some no WR sets to give Ford and Phillips a break. Let Brewer have some plays off with the tank in the wild turkey like you mentioned. Maybe we'll pass to our TEs or maybe we'll just bulldoze the defense with a 1 one two punch of Rogers and Juice*.

*Assuming Marshawn is healthy, of course. He's my favorite RB with a "run over your @$$" mentality.

Holy H-E-Double Hockeystick.

I loved this cartoon as a kid. Daddy Owl is an opera singer, and baby owl is a Jazz cat. Then it all works out in the end.

Fair enough. I didn't realize that comments stay collapsed across devices. I don't really use it, so I figured it was a one time thing that was available on the current instance of the window you were using. The fact that it's saved probably makes that a whole lot more feasible then. In all fairness, this level of web design is far above my head so I picture this from a very low level. Surely Joe utilizes a lot of resources and libraries and then adapts them to make the site run the way it does rather than being built from the ground up. But regardless, I think it's worth mentioning that if people want features or anything different than what's already being done, it's important to support your requests and appreciation with donations.
