If you are waiting around for Beamer's retirement to be official in the papers, then there won't be much discussion to be had about what to do when he's gone.
I have a feeling the people who need to decide what to do when he's gone will know before it's in the paper, so does it really matter if we wait to know for sure or not?
How so? He has produced two offenses that were worse than 90th in the country, and neither team had worse than a '90th in the country' talent level. This team is probably at least in the top half in terms of talent and returning experience. The minimum expectation should be a top 50% offense. If he turns out a top 15 in the country offense, I'll gladly dig into my plate of crow.
To be fair I do recall the coaches saying that not all the interceptions were his fault. Remember he was throwing to mostly freshman last year. The WRs made some mistakes as well that caused those picks. Of course no one knows what the receiver is doing is wrong and only sees the QB throw the ball the the other team so he gets all the blame. Not to say a share of them weren't his fault but I don't think every interception was. I have a lot of hope for him this season. If we don't make the ACCCG it will be a disappointment.
IIRC there was an awkward situation involving yeast, so re-branding was in order.
I am really excited to see Wyatt eat up a LB. we have to be able to wear down defenses this year
All I've been able to do is click on the link in the article (as above). Won't show in the app.

# | Bitter blog - Countdown to the ACC Kickoff, No. 1: The offensive line, plus some Sunday links No surprise here. How much work against the #1 d line will they get? Potential injury has to be a concern going into the opener. Who is the back up center? Chung?
Can anyone help me, using small words I'm a firefighter, on how to find podcasts related to Hokie football. I searched on the podcast app on my iPad and subscribed to the key play one and the one by Glendon but each only has a handful of "episodes".
AB the important questions commenters on your blog and website will want to know: will Lawson get any POY votes? When will Lawson start? How is UNC recruiting so well with NCAA looming over their head? When will (fill in the blank) leave/be fired?
I know the gt game is kind of a bad nightmare for Brewer but he did recover a juice fumble and scored a td. The kid has moxy.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I also think there is a "set amount" for recruiting in the budget. My suspicion is that VT cannot afford to chase marginal prospects that require multiple plane rides just to find out they are going to another school. I can only imagine the frustration at the cost and travel time to recruit players like Adonis Williamson or Eric Whitehead when they are unable to get on campus. It is resources you could have spent elsewhere, visiting more prospects closer to home.
Also makes it doubly important that Adonis and Eric eventually make it to Tech however winding their path may be.
I mean at the very least he's going to know how to respond to "what's a Hokie" at the start of the season
No, not offhand. There were a few that I remember but none in West Egg that year. I take it that it was a good one?
Exactly, it's the university employee's responsibility to not get involved. Any punishment arising out of a situation like that would fall solely at the feet of the TA/tutor/professor/whatever.

# | Bitter blog - Safety C.J. Reavis not enrolled at VT, appealing student conduct decision I too have a friend that had a problem solved by Mr. Turk. When I lived in the NRV I ran into him a couple times, extremely polite and relaxed.
This picture and this quote is absolutely amazing! After all this MAN has been through I hope that the next season rewards him for his hard work...

"I promise you I will keep getting back up as long as you keep pushing forward." -Michael Brewer
I'm in Alexandria, and I'd be down for a share/tasting type event.
Getting involved with a TA or tutor would never result in dismissal. In those cases it's usually the teaching party that gets in trouble, not the student.
If it has to do with a girl and is not criminal it can only really be harassment of some flagrant nature. and the girl in question has not pressed charges.
despite the article above I still think it is an academic issue.
Cheating would have gone through the honor court, not the Student Conduct Board. As VTBeamer mentioned, my guess is it has to do with a lady. My best guess (literally a guess, no #SOURCES or anything here) is he "got involved" with the wrong lady, a TA or tutor or something inappropriate along those lines.
If he or any ladies he has known haven't jumped on this naming opportunity yet, I'm not sure I want him as our quarterback.
Overrated sure beats an empty roster spot. We've got a whole lot of eggs in the Lawson/Durkin/Jackson basket currently. I personally wouldn't mind having one more guy who's at least taken snaps in a college practice before.
Bingo. So long as we stay relatively healthy on the O-line, I think he'll do just that.
Well being scoreless in regulation is pretty terrible...and WF's defense wasn't that great.

For the love of Bud, please let this OLine be decent. Every year seems to disappoint. Hopefully having another year with the same coordinator will improve things.
