This was his second summer, he dazzled when able to play unscripted but was a distant third on the depth chart at UGA, what other reason would there be?
You mean you haven't gotten a picture of the "Brewmaster" yet?
Not all kids are a fit when they arrive on campus, we have also had our share of transfers. And as far as not learning or playing well, until I could get first hand account from someone at UGA or Park himself, I'm not ready to say he couldn't handle it.
Why do you think he wants to come here when he couldn't learn or play well in the UGA system?
I would expect it to be only for the fall semester, keep an eye on this one for being a possible January enrollee for the good guys.
I am also in NE DC & enjoy drinking beer...
Lower right hand corner.... you're welcome!

No I fully support petebuddywilson's tireless efforts in handing out Hardees coupons to deserving youth, their families friends and anyone associated with them. Hell I'll even throw in some box seat to the Braves if it will help his efforts
I'm just trying to get a pair of shoes; that in all likelihood, my wife would strenuously object to.
I didn't even realize he was playing quarterback...
But on a more serious note, I like that there are progressively more touchdowns. I'd expect fewer interceptions from Brewer this year.
For what it's worth, I've heard from #sources that it potentially has to do with a female. Not sure what part of that fits into their being no authorities involved though.
What Lefty needs to improve upon:
2012: 57% compl; 7.3 yds/att; 8 TD; 15 ints; 117 passer rating
2013: 58% compl; 7.1 yds/att; 16 TD; 15 ints; 121 passer rating
2014: 59% compl; 6.2 yds/att; 19 TD; 15 ints; 119 passer rating
other than the low number of TDs at Auburn, there are some scary similarities. Lefty needs to break the mold...increase the yards/att and cut the ints way back
But my question to you, sir, is, is this a part of the Tommy Westphall hypothesis?
Are you trying to start a turf war with petebuddywilson?
Brewer is our Brett Favre, minus the questionable messaging of indecent images.
As far as I know.
If our offense shines this year, a whole lot of people will be eating crow.
Yes you can. There are a finite number of scholarships; one too many QBs means one fewer OL (or some other position of true need).
And this kid ensures it won't be the same?
I'd personally rather take my chances with someone who at least hasn't yet been exposed as overrated.

# | Hokies Ready to Host Multitalented "757" Prospects Phillip Patterson, Devon Hunter in Late July The kids in Alabama (to a lesser extent), Florida and Ohio are not locks to stay in state. Just take a look at the rosters of Michigan, Mich. St, Notre Dame, Pitt, Kentucky, WVU and a few others if you think Ohio kids stay in state. And you can look at almost any roster in the eastern half of the US and find Florida kids.
This is Loeffler's year to shine, and to prove his critics wrong.
Bingo - what I'm wondering is that if he was caught cheating, wouldn't that negate his 'earning' the honor roll, and his actual grades would be rescinded accordingly?
I only posted originally because the majority here seemed to be leaning towards the idea that it had to be cheating (myself included, and like FernleyHokie, pure speculation)....and his listing on the honor roll seemed to be in complete disagreement with that hypothesis.
Of course, it may be that the list was being prepared and released as all this was going down, and they didn't catch it in time to remove him from the list, if in fact this all has to do with cheating.......
I'm starting to wonder if it could be something else -just what it could be I cant put my finger on. It's been 25 years since i was a student at Tech, and i can only imagine some of the things that have been added to the student conduct code since then.....
Fully dipped, one might say
I believe he is referencing the rampant speculation (myself included) that Reavis was caught cheating and that lead to his dismissal.
That makes it all the more interesting
Probably doesn't mean much. He was still enrolled at the end of the academic year, so he deservedly gets credit for making the honor roll that year.
I find myself asking this question kind of a lot... what exactly was working consistently this year? Brewer's too banged up to throw what Loeffler really wants to call (SL said that himself, according to someone on TSL), he's got a makeshift offensive line, his star TE isn't running the right routes, his freshman receivers aren't even lining up correctly some of the time, so what exactly would you have him call? It's kind of hilarious this is what seems to be one of the biggest gripes about Loeffler, when OSU fans can't believe they have such a simplified playbook that was so easily exploited by Foster. Loeffler's definitely got the mind and finally might have the pieces to make things work this year. Let's let the man do his thing and pray the injury bug minds its own damn business before we throw SL under the bus.

So on a serious note... anyone who homebrews ever thought of starting up a brewery near Blacksburg? I know there used to be one but would it actually work? With VT having brewing equipment on campus we could take in "interns" over the summer!
