For me, it is mostly a byproduct of him either being hurt when I saw Oklahoma games, or have underwhelming games. My list has a clear B1G, Big East, ACC, and SEC bias. I think Steve Emtman is my only PAC guy.

If you guys get board, youtube Steve Emtman. Washington ran the same 4-4 look that Bud Foster's base defense was initially built around. Emtman shows you the possibilities of what an elite DT could do in that system. It is SCARY.

I wish I had a clip of the SportsCenter highlights right after the GT game. I think it was SVP doing the highlights and he said something along the lines of "Maybe David Wilson has an early class tomorrow, maybe he needs to study for a test, but David Wilson says, 'I ain't got time for over time!'"

I saw highlights of him in college, but my family didn't have cable in the late 80's and I can't recall ever seeing Oklahoma State with Barry (or his teammate Thurman Thomas... can you imagine?) on ABC or CBS. Of the backs I saw play in college, in no particular order guys I would put in front of Reggie Bush:

Trey Gurley
Travis Henry
Jamal Lewis
Adrian Peterson
Willis McGahee
Kevin Jones
Ryan Williams
Duke Johnson
Warrick Dunn
Cadillac Williams
Marshall Faulk
Laurence Phillips (asshole, but he may be the best of the bunch. My god.)
Darren McFadden
Kijanna Carter
Garrison Hurst
Marcus Lattimore (LOVED HIM. It broke my heart when he got hurt)
Thomas Jones (both his college and NFL careers have been tremendously underrated.)

I envision that saying "Tech will win a NC" will be said through a drunken mouth full of chips

I just bought 5 tickets for the VT whopping Purdue game! So me, my wife, 14 year old son, and 12 and 10 year old daughters will be there wearing our VT bling. Closest game for us and first game ever to see VT play. I will spend the rest of my summer hyping my kids up, waiting for the tickets to arrive, and generally being a pain in the butt to everyone around here (edit: by here I mean the home area) telling them about it.

This may be a dumb question, but would it make sense to run the following scenario/how would a defense react to it: bucky lines up in a traditional TE in-line stance. A LB is matched up with him. He motions out wide. Cam moves to the slot (after bucky is set, can't have two in motion). Does the lb stay on bucky out wide, does he cover cam in the slot, does a safety move down to cover cam leaving room over the top?

It never fails to baffle me how awesome Dyrell Roberts was when the Hokies could get the ball in his hands before his injury, and then how timid and ineffective he was when he returned. I don't begrudge him because the injury was horrific. I just hate that he could have made NFL dollars and that injury completely ruined him.

What game??? Never happened. Total fabrication by the media to prop up an eastern market team. It was only the rumor that I brought up.

Weddings. Get that shit out of the way before September comes because you're an inconsiderate jerk if you schedule it during football season.

I love the new header on the website as well. I prefer a simpler design, but I'm curious as to whether we'll see the "Shop" and "Photos" logos somewhere else to get to those pages.

I sat next to Boyce in my technical writing class when his daughter was born. He was such a happy father that day! I'm glad to see he got those legal concerns straightened out.

Aside from the Bama NC wins, and their defense and RB's are usually in a class of their own, no recent NC hasn't had a complete stud at QB. I just don't know if having a "game manager" type guy like Brewer can get us to a NC unless our backs and D are on Bama's level.
