I would be happy with this season as well, but I also think it would leave a tiny bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Im so tired of playing second fiddle to FSU and Clemson in the ACC...
On the other hand, it does warm my heart to see UVA finishing right where they belong
The use of the word "recruiticorn" will always garner a chuckle and a leg from me.
Yeah, I really can't see Clemson running the table right now. They play GT and Miami from the Coastal. Also have FSU, Louisville, and a likely tricky NC State team, plus they play Notre Dame this year, and of course South Carolina. I see at least one loss somewhere in there.
I would be very happy with a 10-2 year for us too. Hope we can beat the Buckeyes again, but all is not lost if we lose a hard-fought game with them. A lot to play for this year.
I graduated from VT in 2001, and I have a brother that went to Auburn, so you'll see the ACC/SEC bias in these picks
QB- Michael Vick
Tailback- McGahee
Fullback- Najeh Davenport
Wide Receiver-Randy Moss (agree with French on this that it isn't even close)
Wide Receiver- Larry Fitzgerald
Tight End- Jeremy Shockey (again, agree with French here that he was loathsome but just unstoppable)
Offensive Tackle- D'Brickishaw Ferguson (dude wasn't the NFL player people thought he should be, but was a dominant college lineman)
Guard- Elton Brown
Center- Jake Grove
Guard- Ben Grubbs
Offensive Tackle- Walter Jones
Defensive End- Corey Moore
Defensive Tackle- Suh
Defensive Tackle- Glenn Dorsey
Defensive End- Dwight Freeney
Outside Linebacker- Takeo Spikes
Middle Linebacker- Jonathan Vilma
Outside Linebacker- Al Wilson
Corner- Charles Woodson
Free Safety- Ed Reed
Strong Safety- Sean Taylor
Corner- Champ Bailey
You didn't watch the playoffs that year did you?
Clemson running the table? Guess they forgot where the term "pulling a Clemson" comes from.
Would be really happy with 10-2 for VT.
I would be very happy if that happened. Still think we owe them some payback from the recent losses.

# | Bitter blog - Safety C.J. Reavis not enrolled at VT, appealing student conduct decision My only problem is the terminology used:
"...lead to the arrest and conviction of..."
It won't be enough just to lead to his arrest. The guy has to stay in jail long enough to have his day in court. Unfortunately, it's not the days of "Wanted Dead or Alive", so someone can't just kill him for that reward.
Best biscuits down there
I see what you did there...gross.
SHHHH!! You've said that name! Now all it takes is for someone to say Beetlejuice two more times.... DAMN IT! Only one more time now.
I'm just hopeful he can contribute on special teams at this point. Hopefully he doesn't wind up like joel caleb, but it seems to be heading that way.

# | HYPOTHETICAL: If someone had said Tim Settle will qualify, but you have to lose CJ Reavis... I'd pay $10 to see that...
I disagree, using my iPad having to go to the menu then open it and then hit tracker, liked it just being up top. I like the logo and search bar being so prominent, maybe leave comments and tracker also?

Shocker, Hokie Fireman doesn't like change. /s
Just giving you a hard time.
By the way, I've never had the chance to say this before or just never thought of it but thank for you what you do. I actually know quite a few firefighters from the Hampton Roads area and I know that it's an incredibly tough line of work. Really, just thank you.
Whatever I'm wearing at a game where the Hokies lose, I never wear to a game again.
None of these guys could carry Randy Moss's jockstrap. Wasn't tough for me.
God made that dude to catch a football.

You realize if I were to call to call the cops you are screwed, El Chapo

Thank Navy, btw... keep up the good work on 11W. I would not accomplish any work if I created a username over there but I poke around from time to time.

Agreed, flashes of greatness, but nothing to give him a shot to start.
ESPN Article:
"In the first half, Flacco was as brilliant as Tom Brady, Joe Montana or Terry Bradshaw ever were in the NFL's biggest game. The only quarterback to win a playoff game in each of his first five seasons -- his coach holds the same distinction -- was nearly perfect. Overall, Flacco threw for 11 touchdowns to tie a postseason record, and had no interceptions."
11 TDs and 0 interceptions in the playoffs. There is a reason he was MVP of the superbowl. This was not a Trent Dilfer Ravens team.
I refreshed my phone because I thought it wasn't loading the entire page lol
Working his way up to this...

We won't be second fiddle when we beat Clemson in the ACCCG.
