Let's all be honest... It's the Mike Young way. Win early... Suck for a good portion of conference play... Get hot (or somewhat hot) near the end. Lose most of the roster. Try to rebuild... Rinse - Repeat.

This has changed significantly in ACC play. Only scoring 66 and allowing 68.7. Shooting 39.3% from the floor and only 29% from 3.
They need it regardless as Stanford by year end will likely be a Quad 2 or worse game. They have lost five or their last six.

Like is said above, they can stack the game w the last place team traveling to the first place team. Then there's a chance at getting a piece of the playoff pie w the G5 qualifier spot...so its about $$$. An easy way to tilt the field.
Just too many mental mistakes or poor close outs on shooters. Defense has to be better in 2nd half
