Yeah I can't rewind it on Spectrum, but I can't figure out how it's a shooting foul if it's not on Johnson. I think we need to keep going at her on defense to try to get her into foul trouble
That should been an and 1 on that crazy shot that went in.
That was a weak foul on UVA's Johnson
Now they changed who the foul was on but left it a shooting foul. She was only one near Nelson on the foul.

# | Hokies wrestling recruits Class of 2026 and 2027. End of season duals and Postseason Bishop McCourt (Bo/Melvin) just won the District Team championship by winning 58-11, 57-9, and 55-13 in the finals.
Wenzel 3-8 doesn't help but my biggest issue with our offense is there is almost zero effort to get Freelon where she can score. Doesnt help she only played 8 minutes but her, Trent and Petersen only had 4 shots in 21 minutes. I know UVA bigs are tough but still need them to be successful.
Baker 0-7 or we would be in control.
There it is again....whistle only because she went to the floor well after the shot.
Two great plays by Petersen! Layup, followed by steal to assist on the next possession. Maybe breaking out of that slump

Both teams 5 for 18 shooting in the first. I hope we settle down before they do.
Maybe this will be our bad quarter. Atrocious shooting. So many open looks that didn't go down capped off by Wenzel missing two free throws.
I dont understand how Wenzel is so absolutely terrible at layups. Its infuriating especially when she then misses both free throws

i feel like it would have worked out better for us. As it stands things didn't go great: 5-6 in 2020, fuente fired in 2021. Then hired Pry to go 3-8, 7-6, 6-7, 0-3, fired.
Who the hell knows who we hire if Fuente leaves for Baylor in early 2020, but I doubt our results would have been worse than that
the opportunity cost of what the academic programs might have gotten if that money had been reinvested
Reinvested with what purpose though? I'd rather VT become amazing at football (and academics, obviously) than become another university owned hedge fund
Definitely need to shoot better than they did against Pitt, and we can't afford an entire quarter where we can't throw it in the ocean. Hoping they find the rhythm they had against Wake last weekend.
