Don't forget the Men's and Women's Tennis teams continue to play up until at least the end of April for the ACC Championships, and if any progress to Nationals, they will play into May.
The men are currently 7-4, ranked #44 in the country. Their next home meet is Florida State at the end of March, but they have four away meets in a row between now and then.
The women are currently 9-4, ranked #48 in the country. Their next home meet is this Saturday against Duke at noon.
I've never seen a RB push a pile all by himself. Unfortunately, the way we've run-blocked the past couple of years, they've had to try to.
yeah, it's definitely all about contracts, rights and $$, not technology anymore. i envision ESPN3 (or WatchESPN) being an onDemand channel, not a broadcast channel, but i'm sure there are a few ways to do it. it'll be interesting to see where everything goes over the next few years. ESPN has to protect their primary revenue (carriage fees), but they seem to be one of the best companies at embracing IP/OnDemand sports broadcasts. i'm sure they have a plan, but they are keeping it close to the vest right now. NBC, too. NBC LiveExtra is a great app (just need it on Roku!)...

yeah must be. i'm kidding, while I certainly don't need booze to enjoy a game, it does help loosen you up to jump and yell and whatnot. it's all about release for me.
we don't need a lot of things, but what's wrong with having it available to enjoy responsibly? at $9 or more per beer, it's not like kids will be using the availability to get hammered. it won't change their behavior one bit. but for those of us who might prefer a nice beer over a 20+ oz soft drink in our stadium/collector cup, why not make it available?

I'm pretty sure the technology and infrastructure is already there for the cable companies to treat ESPN3 like a regular channel. It wouldn't be much different than the ESPN Goal Line channel, in terms of only having limited programming. The main issue would be about where to put multiple games at the same time.
But I wonder if that's eating into ESPN's pay per view package.
And 2 against BC.
I guess I am in a minority that doesn't think you need to have alcohol to enjoy a game.

Everybody has a bad day. Dealing with idiots can wear on the best of us. I hope this is something that happened once and not every game you've been to. I assure you they aren't there to make your life miserable.
I understand you're wanting to stand but my little girls have problems seeing even when people sit. We make arrangements and deal with that.
If you stand, I have to put my kids on my shoulder so they can see. The people behind me can't see. Whether they stand or not.
The older guy that sat next to me all season, he has a handicap that doesn't allow him to stand for long.
Guy had a problem with me this year when he thought he successfully snuck into the seats in front of us that he didn't buy, then stood on the seat to see. Right on front of my 7 year old that came to cheer and wore her cheerleader outfit. He made it impossible for me to see when I was standing. He got kinda pissy when I insisted on seeing his ticket. He eventually got tossed for throwing his drink at someone else. 'Nother story.
But, not everyone can accommodate your standing. You gotta have some appreciation for the people behind you. If you want to stand, get seats in a section for standing. I don't buy tickets over there because I realize I'm going to need sitting, with my kids.
