1) bring back Stick It In
2) Increase stadium capacity, however that can be done/possible
3) better audio all around the stadium, so there is no echo from one endzone to the other
4) jumbotron on south side so students don't have to look up and strain their necks while watching replays

Yea I hear ya, I'm still young, so maybe I'll see it in my time :) . I also wish that when they were doing the South endzone renovation, they connected it to the east and west sides so it would be a horseshoe or half bowl look to it, def would keep more noise in IMHO

I wouldn't be opposed to that, actually that would be frickin sweet. Always wished they would rebuild/renovate the north side since it holds the lowest capacity of the 4, but that pretty much has gone out the window with the new scoreboard, unless the build around it, like on the left and right side of the scoreboard. Just imagine how much more intimidating and loud Lane would be if it had the capacity around 70-80k+..... a Hokie can wish

i don't think it would happen. those seats would be awful, and it would be aesthetically hideous. they also just built that Verizon LTE station back there, right? and to add on, they would have to bring the whole east side up to current code, which i think would mean tearing it down.

it won't happen any time soon, but i think if anything happens, maybe when the current jumbotron has run through it's life cycle (12 years?), they could tear down north and east sides, build a new 1/2 stadium with a smaller lower "bowl", club seats and luxury boxes down closer to the field, and then a very large upper deck above that 2nd tier. maybe they play home games around large alumni bases that year, sort of a regional tour. DC, Baltimore, Charlotte, maybe even Philly. work with the ACC to play away games in c'ville, wake and 2 in RTP that year. it wouldn't be pretty, but it could be done.

The last 20 seconds couldn't have gone much worse. We don't manage a shot, give up a turnover and let them close to within one, instead of a three to five point halftime lead. We shot a dreadful 37% from the field and already have seven turnovers. Fortunately the turnovers have only led to four points so far. We have limited the offensive rebounds so far to only two. Drives me crazy, since with only an average shooting percentage, we would have taken a 10 point lead into that half. Hopefully Maryland doesn't wake up at half time and we get out of here with a win.

Looks like the Georgia Tech game might be a handful after all since it really looks as if the Jackets are going to finish off Syracuse.

The next stadium increase would likely be an upper deck to the East side stands. Yes, it could be done, but it would impact the woods.

Any chance that we'll get a wrap up comparison of the QBs from you later? Maybe letter grades on different aspects of their game that they've put on film, such as elusiveness in the pocket, elusiveness outside of the pocket, arm strength and accuracy while set and while moving, pre-snap reads, reads during the play, etc.

I know you've talked about a lot of this stuff in the individual articles, but I'd like to see it all together in one place where we can see not just that a player has a strength in this area or that, but also how much of a strength it is compared to the other players.

This is most likely the cause. When everyone else starts playing, you just pick one of the three tunes you remember and start playing in the hope that it sounds right.

I kept it simple, but sure add up all the force. Are you sure he doesn't have the leg strength to push a pile? Whatever force JC has generated with his legs during front squats should translate well to pushing piles and running through LBs. He is the strongest VT RB ever at that force. Other VT RBs could break tackles and push a pile. JC shouldn't be any different. If anything, due to his lack of height, he should be able to get more leverage. He needs to learn to translate his strength in the weight room onto the field. I am a big fan of JC and I hope does well.

If you want an example of someone who bleeds orange and maroon, look no further. Big recruiter back in the day, loves VT, and clearly works his ass off. God I hope he finishes his career strong; he deserves it.
