If they manage to beat us, they likely move ahead of Wake Forest in the ACC standings which affects their matchups for the ACC tournament. It would move them as high as the 10th spot in the conference depending on tie breakers and how other teams close out their season. Right now in the ACC, Miami is 6-11, Notre Dame is 6-12, Wake Forest is 5-11, and Georgia Tech is 5-12. If they get the 10th seed, they would turn around and face us again in the first round of the ACC tournament. With a loss and a Boston College win, they could also end up being the 14th seed, so I expect their coaches will have them ready for us.

Considering "this year" as "this calendar year of 2014," Feb. 15 against is our only win, with the previous Miami win being Dec. 8, 2013 and the last non-2014 win overall being MD-ES on Dec. 31, 2013.
You are correct. Highlight reels let you see a player at their best. Full game film lets you see bad habits. Any review that includes full length game footage (see Andrew Ford) will be a little more sedate.
A giant bud foster head with spotlights for eyes that focus on the opposing QB as he walks onto the field...all the while there's smoke coming out from his ears and flames from his mouth.
I think I just gave myself nightmares.

I have never had the police hassle me for standing on the West Side and screaming like a maniac all game long.
I have never had the police hassle me for waiting for the crowd to clear before walking to the aisle.
Shane has done a good job with teaching RBs to limit fumbles.

I expect Bucky to be AT LEAST 14' tall and 600 pounds of pure muscle.
I'm all for police presence to handle certain situations. I'm against police presence threatening to kick me from the game if I don't sit down because I'm blocking other people's views. I get it, I'm a tall guy, and I try my best to accommodate, but I didn't pay my money for my ticket to simply SIT and watch the game. I came to be a fan and part of the 12th man. If I wanted to sit and watch, I'd have stayed home and watched the game on TV.
I'm all for police presence, but I don't want police to tell me that I have to clear the stands immediately after the game with the rest of the crowd when I want to wait for it to thin out a bit, and hear the band finish the game. I don't want them to tell me they'll arrest me for drunk and disorderly for enjoying myself with jumping up and down and dancing, especially when I DON'T DRINK.
This is not acceptable to me.
I feel like we're all gonna be SUPER disappointed when the official heights and weights come out in a couple weeks.

Trust me, the officers don't enjoy being on traffic duty, but it's necessary for navigating around campus on gameday. At large events, there is usually a requirement regarding the amount of police/security presence is required. I highly doubt we have more than other universities. The RMC events guys in their yellow jackets can only do so much. Their responsibility is more for dealing with ticket and seating issues.
We didn't fumble much last year. That says something...
Ahhh I love seeing TKP make it into national sources. Love it.
