I agree. I think Durkin has quicker feet than LT, based on that clip. The quickness of those jump cuts is surprising.
Glad to see the team get another W! The effort the last 2 games has been terrific. This is not a good basketball team by any means, but the fact that they go out there and give it everything despite their record is encouraging.
That being said, there is no way (in my mind) they win this game if Miami consistently tries to drive to the basket against the zone instead of shooting 34 threes. You could see it late in the second half, Miami was much more aggressive getting to the basket and they started to score pretty easily. Any win is a good win, though, especially for this team. Hopefully they can build some confidence and momentum off of their last 2 performances and maybe steal another win or two in conference. Let's go Hokies!
We lead 4-0 over Slovenia at the end of the 2nd. Also, Slovakia is putting up a fight against Russia. The score is 0-0 at the end of the 2nd. Slovakia is the only team in our group that hasn't won a prelim game.

But in all seriousness I think as has been said before Loria needs to be in any discussion, that the man was able to attract such honors in the dark days of VT football speaks to his ability and drive, a succession of him, then Beamer or team as coaches would have been very interesting to see!
I have this annoying habit of reading just about anything literally the first time or two I see it. Did a couple double-takes, then giggled to myself.

I would say they need to have more off days. They didn't practice Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and only had a players only practice Friday. You could tell they looked more refreshed and they were able to hang on at the end.
