How about ECU (every other year, pretty much), Marshall (2011), Western Michigan (2002), and UCF (2000)? Those are all teams that we have visited since our MNCG appearance. You'll have a tough time convincing me that any of them are much better than the teams you've asterisked. Yes, ECU and Marshall are annual bowl contenders. So are 2/3 of teams in FBS. Yes, UCF won a BCS bowl this year. That was only the 4th time in program FBS history that they reached 10 wins, and until this season they've been in C-USA, and it was only the 6th bowl in program history.
We also play @ODU in 2018. They are just now starting their 1st full season as an FBS member.
My point here is that times are changing, and fewer schools are willing to sacrifice the exposure that playing home games against these bigger teams can bring them. It makes sense, apparently enough to balance out whatever payments they would otherwise be getting: they get ticket sales and concessions in their home stadiums, they get to use their own TV contracts which can bring in more $$ with bigger matchups, and they get to bring in recruits to see them play these other teams, whereas I doubt they can bring them to away games. That's no longer something to look down upon, at least not nearly as much as it used to be.
According to ESPN we should all bow down and worship the ground at Miami's feet. Remember it is supposed to be Miami and FSU every year in the ACC CG.
If our new QB hits the ground running we should be favored in every game except OSU.

I spent the entire time at my cousin's wedding watching the Pitt game. Didn't hide it either. Everybody there was a UGA fan so I kept them posted on the Mizzou game which they weren't too happy about. A dry wedding made better with a flask and the WatchESPN app.
After reading the article, it sounds like the ligament is something that was identified by one person over 100 years ago, but largely ignored by the medical industry who continued to assume it was part of another piece of tissue, and that it wasn't until recently that some researchers have verified that it is, in fact, a distinct ligament unto itself.
Last time at home I believe was 2008 when GT was called for an (albeit bogus) personal foul on Tyrod to extend a game-winning drive. Long time ago.

My wife and I attended a wedding in 2011 on the day of the Wake Forest game. I watched the entire game on my iPhone during dinner. With all the extra silverware and crap they put on the table I was able to make a stand.
I think the Miami Pitt game is evidence that we're more likely to see a 330 game.

This isn't really a "new" discovery. I doubt anyone really cares so I won't go into too much detail unless people want, but doctors and anatomy teachers have known about the ligament for over 100 years, it just never had a decided upon name like the MCL and ACL. This study basically tried to get a concrete description of what the ligament connects and thus give it an appropriate name that the whole field can agree upon. I think the reason it has never been done is that it was never deemed to be a critical structure.
It's still important research and could potentially lead to advances in surgical technique because of how far the field has advanced, but it's not like surgeons have been missing this structure the whole time and we found the equivalent of an ACL that could be torned that no one has seen before.
Proud to be the "decagreement" on this one... It was, and is badass.
