I'm sure it can be frustrating to break stories and then have the newspaper guys get to run with it themselves because they have an outlet for the information. Also it isn't that difficult to quickly cite where your information came from.

As for what we can do to convince Nnadi, I think it will be tough if he hasn't already made up his mind to be a Hokie. The kid has visited a ton of times. This is going to be his official, but its not like Blacksburg and Hokie sports will be new to him.
I was going to come here and post the same about Tyrod. I remember reading the paper when I was in 8th grade and thinking, "wow, some kid my age just got an offer to play football for college. He must bee good."
And then I went to Hampton and then Tech and got to watch him play for the next 8 years, and it was fantastic.
Asked a Miami grad about that, and she explained that its a pain in the ass to drive to ft. Lauderdale for the game. She even pointed out that they have tailgates at the school, and then buses try and bring students up to the orange bowl over an hour away.
While that wouldn't be an excuse for me, I can see how a bunch of students wouldn't make that drive.

Some good and bad reports for Logan today- which makes no sense. I guess some scouts are looking for him to succeed while some are firmly planted in the ground that he is not a QB prospect worth taking in the first couple of rounds. Once again, it seems like everyone is a NFL draft scout according to their profile, but here are some tweets from "scouts" that were interesting:

I watched the hour of practice the NFL Network had on the North team and they showed LT3 a little bit. He didn't look great (sailed a pass and had the pocket collapse and had to throw on the run, wasn't that bad of a pass) but the wind was crazy today and he is working with new WRs. After the overthrow he went over to a coach and WR, so I think it was a mix up. Not enough to really tell anything.
As for James Gayle, he continued to push the pocket on every play. 1v1 and on 11v11 he put pressure on the pocket but struggled to get off the block and get to the QB. He was going against Zack Martin, the top OL at the Senior Bowl though.

See Jeremy Pruitt. One and done may not necessarily be knock of your program. I don't think we can concern ourselves with next year staff when we need a bona fide coach for 2014. If there was a bona fide coach that would be a lock for 5 years, then yes, hire him. I don't know if he exists in the college football landscape. Maybe Todd Washington with his lack of FBS experience could have been the guy. But I wouldn't consider Washington bona fide.

A little off topic but how are schools/players determined to play on the North or South team? I was expecting it to pertain directly to location but noticed the following:
South: UVA & Liberty
North: Virginia Tech (ok wanted to beat up on the Wahoos anyway), Clemson (uhh South Carolina seems pretty southern), Miami (geographically speaking, doesn't get any farther south on the east coast)
So yeah, how does this work? Anyone? Bueller?
