Who knows? I think frank loves the program to stay too long past his prime. But he has every right to stay ad long as he wants. He is a world class coach who brought up tech from nothing. So instead of waiting for a new coach, enjoy the magnificent man CFB is.

I am totally confused by your response. What do you mean that Frank Beamer is not legit? Frank is a Hall of Fame coach. How can you suggest he is not legit? My question is simply how much longer will we blessed that he is our head coach? Many have suggested that he is ready for retirement but he would like to make one more run at a National Championship. Losing an excellent offensive line coach has to hurt those chances.

I am just curious if anyone knows what he has in mind for his coaching tenure. Is it dependent on his confidence of coaching a National Championship team and did losing his OL coach impact that confidence. Or does he have a set number of years that he is wanting to coachc?

I think this falls into a TSL - themed topics. I for one don't need to see this talked about incessantly on TKP.

The answer to your questions is NO. I don't mean to be offensive but Beamer is legit and Grimes leaving has zero impact on him being VT's coach. He will choose his on time to leave.

Also based on this forum if Searels is the guy the learning curve on spelling his name is going to be steeeep. I know I have to look at it twice every time I write it.

Not sure how to get the word out. Your post was somewhat subtle in the comment section. I had to google TKP to find the site.

No prob! I wonder just how many refugees have come/will come as a result of vbulletin closing. A day on these boards is like switching from a flip phone to an iPhone. Night and day, I love it!

When I went job hunting out of college, I did all of my resumes on this really screaming day glow yellow paper, and I laminated them. I got called for a lot of interviews. Several of them mostly wanted to get a look at the guy who used the crazy resume paper. But...hey...once the door is open just a little, it's much easier to push the rest of the way open.

Maybe that's kind of the idea behind the cleats.

In my NFL there would be no PAT's, FG's, or kickoffs. Start at the 25 and try to score TD's...which would be 7 pts. That way all scores would be multiples of seven, which would bring good luck to everybody involved, because, the number seven...well, you know.

Kickers are soooooooo 20th century. I would allow punting. Not so much because I like it, but because this is a Hokie forum, and A.J. Hughes may look in every now and then, so...yeah, punting is ok.

They kinda look like the UA highlights, but there's something that's not quite right for them to be those. Maybe some new fangled nike thing?

I just hope wherever Logan goes, he doesn't necessarily get forced right into the starting job. A year on the bench could be invaluable to him.

I could see the Steelers or the Bucs take him off the board to groom him as a back up, or, shoot any team looking for a little depth without spending much coin.
He has such a potential upside if put in the right situation and given time.
Quick stat: 48 different QB's started games in the NFL so far in the 2013 season.
There's a place for Logan.

Enough... Turkey legs at lane that you're tired of hogging them for yourself?

well, HokieDale has recruited me over to TKP to take a look-see as well...

i guess we'll see how this goes.

the message boards are dead! long live the message boards!
