My fault, I was so blinded with rage that anyone would even consider leaving Tech that I must have missed it.
Updated to include Kris Hartley, Cequan Jefferson not coming.
These posts are so skinny now!!!! Weird. I wonder how much skinnier they can get...
I couldn't help it. I wanted to be apart of the stretch boxes.
Also, shouldn't we give MV5 a pass you know...cause his brother took us to the greatest heights ever?
Also I want to see how this looks all stretchy.
I believe there was a spell there where some misses on defensive recruiting put us in a bad situation in terms of personnel. I hate to think about if Bud wasn't handling the reins during that stretch.
I wouldn't be shocked if Wade Hansen and Matt Roth moved inside for bodies, but seeing one of the freshmen enroll early would be welcome. I won't speculate on why things went south with Harley, but athletically he was a perfect fit for the Hokie gap scheme and was always disruptive when he got snaps in 2012. Sadly, he looked awful in the August 17th scrimmage until he blew up Matt Arkema on a zone play, but making the tackle he injured his shoulder and never got his spot back.
Every single "NFL Caliber" college QB I've seen play this year made the same mistakes and poor throws that LT3 did. Is LT3 the top 5 pick everyone thought he could become? No. Is he a legitimate NFL QB prospect? Yes.
Duke and BC were not good games for his decision making.
I am honestly going to be shocked if one of Morris or Venerables doesn't leave Clemson.
Happily, we saw his decision making get much better later in the year. MUCH fewer head-scratchers and 2x coverage throws. Probably the result of more reps in a more sophisticated passing offense, going through progressions, etc. Real shame he was only coached by Lefty for a year.
You aren't the only one wondering about his decision making. There have been too many times he has throw into double and triple coverage for me to not wonder about his decision making.
I think he is a 5+ round selection right now that some team will take for a project. I can see the Saints, Patriots, Packers, or Broncos be willing to go level for a project that might be ready to step in when their QB leaves.
Harrison will be a Wr, that's what tech recruited him for. He Is one of the best athletes in the country and we don't have much talent on the offensive side of the ball. Everyone knows that. We will have enough at CB. We NEED offense, we will always have defense even if we miss a guy or 2
Sweet, sweet offseason drama

Had a nice jet sweep run as well.
A clear and present danger to most secondaries.
(I had to)
This is where Moorehead can flex his recruiting muscle.
Well... Torrian is his recruiter, and Rivals lists him as a DB. If you look at our roster, and this recruiting class, you'll see that we have A LOT of WR's and not many reasonable options at CB
just imagine what we could do with both of them..
Harrison Ford...there is so much potential
That is the funniest thing I've read all day! Well played sir!
Ford is really important as Harrison seems more and more unlikely
Golden put out a statement today saying he's staying at Miami.

I think Bud Foster's profile is a bit down right now due to lack of VT overall success even though his defense has been great and the main reason VT made a bowl.
Louisville's recent success probably has them looking for either a "hot" coordinator (Morris, Narduzzi) or someone with HC experience (Franklin).

Messages are about off my iPad screen now.
