I see a *defense* that usually plays above the level of talent they put on the field. I don't know if I'd say the same for the offense or special teams. Our offensive recruiting classes are probably better than 118th in the country.

As a Redskins fan, I'd like to take this opportunity to say Dan Snyder is a total douchenozzle and idiot when it comes to trying to run a football team.
To be honest guys we should be stopping them from scoring. So if they're still looking to score on us we should stop them. That's a mentality that I wish we had sometimes.. I know I'll get down voted but that's fine. I want us to have that killers mentality but it had been a good season I Wish it just finished better...
And I see a team that plays at or better than the level of talent it puts on the field. I also see a staff that is working on improving that talent. That's why I think the Hokies are headed in the right direction.

I'll beat a dead horse, the reason behind it is Frank Beamer. He is the begin of the downfall of Virginia Tech football. And no, I'm not just saying this because of the last two years, I have actually been calling for Frank to go for about the last 5-6 years.
I'll admit after this bowl game, I now have a special hate for UCLA. But I don't consider them to be classless from this one game. I think their one LB is a punk ass bitch, but I don't think their team is classless.
How many PFs have the Hokies committed after the game was over?

For what, not being able to bring in good free-agent depth and skill position players in the middle of the season?
I saw a team that did what it did in previous years, it played down to the level of the opponent. New coaches improved that? No, they didn't. It was same old same old. Frank consistently runs out undisciplined teams that under perform expectations. He needs to go, or we as a program aren't going anywhere.
I fail to see how recruiting is one of those things that doesn't take time to improve. I believe that something else was being referred to in the description of the Hokies as a "piss ass" team. And to me, ignoring recruiting is ignoring the biggest problem with this team.
I get that things snowballed out of control but you can look at that one of two ways. We were either severely outmatched or quit. Unfortunately, I think it's a bit of both. Logan going down sucks, but that's why you work to develop quality depth. We clearly don't have quality depth.
I'd like to take this opportunity to remind all TKPrs to thank God that Dan Snyder is not the AD at Tech because if he was, Beamer's ass would've been out LOONG ago.
