Look, everyone. It's been a long season. Let's just all have drink (or as many as needed) and calm the fuck down. It was a better record this year than last year. It will be a better record this coming season. Enough downvoting. Enough Leal bashing. And most of all enough fellow TKP bashing.
I have to argue with you there. He went in high, ducked his head so he made contact with the crown of the helmet, and made zero attempt to wrap up or make a form tackle.
And for people who may think the tackle "zone" makes it hard for a defender to find a place to hit without being penalized, Logan was standing upright and as we all know is 6'6''. There's plenty of room on his body to make a good, solid, clean hit.
The defender did not.
I thought JC actually looked pretty good here, but I think Mangus should have been turned to as the everydown back. He has way more power. But JC was about the best I've ever seen him. He pretty consistently got 3-4 yards a play. Sure he didn't get an explosive play, but he made things easier on the offense.
Congrats to seniors and all those moving on. Loved watching LT as a QB, and running option. Think he's going to stick at the next level and hope he gets a shot to be a number one when he is ready. Best luck to all the kids in the draft. I don't think these kids have gotten enough credit for a situation that was far from optimal. Been a challenging few years and hopefully they'll take the learning and the ability to come back from adversity to whatever is next.
Eh. Fine, the boosters can pressure them. If they also start donating SEC money, then maybe they'll get the results they expect.

And I'm not sure what you're talking about. Our best starting corners didn't play. Any offensive player from last year isn't going to be that impressive, and J.C. Coleman did not impress, and our 1st string TE (who remember was supposed to redshirt this year until injuries forced him to play), was injured in the 1st quarter.
So I'm not exactly sure what you're saying...

Yeah, you're right. Hundley seems like a great kid, and I hope all goes well with his sister. Emotions just got the best of me especially with Mora going for that long TD pass when the game was clearly over.
I'll miss him. Hope he gets put in the right best system for him to succeed at the next level.

Well said. LT was inconsistent but I never questioned his heart. There was a look in his eye that I remember seeing during the Marshall game, one time that the camera zoomed in on him, that I think captured his entire persona. He was taking a beating, but he was carrying the team. He was their heart when they needed it. For that, he will remain one of my favorite players. He may not have championship rings, but the man was a good Hokie.
To the rest of our seniors, thank you for the 4-5 years you invested in this team. I hope they were worthwhile for you and serve as a launching point for your futures, be they in the NFL or in other professions.
