I've said it before, but it bears repeating. AB deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for his behavior on those comment sections.
Printed it out...
For the next time I'm on the can...
Interesting that Nike could lower the compensation by $75,000 if Frank isn't the head coach anymore.
Great...just what we need....
you thinking.
No, but it did explain why Glennon had backward swish in GT game. If he hadn't done that, then VT would have lost at least 10% of total annual base compensation from Nike.
Precisely! Notice the difference in GT's rushing output with/without their suspended DLinemen.
Also, Manbearpig.
Well hold on a second here. I think JC's looked pretty darn good at times later in the season, notably Miami and UVA. Of course, he's not a great short-yardage back, but I think he's shown us a decent amount.
Or when Harbaugh finally gets the balls to put Tyrod in
Too much reading, does it state that we must wear 4 different type of helmet combos each year?
Or when Frank gives Peter Rose another chance
This^^^^ me and my roommate have discussed this at length. Other than the duke game last season, JC has not proven to be a quality college back. He has looked good returning kicks but I would rather Magnus do so and get way more playing time. I think tomorrow is important in judging Shanes ability at being a good running back coach as he supposedly decides on the rotation.
This just doesn't seem offensive...so I got you.
As far as the post - if a team has really good D-tackle play, it can beat CPJ's option. Ole Miss has REALLY good D-tackle play.
I don't think JC has developed quite the way the coaching staff (and fans, let's face it ) wanted him to. A lot of that is on his nagging injuries this month, but remember he was the #101 player in Rival. But he hasn't had a play from scrimmage this year more than 13 yards. Let that sink in.
I know Shane had those comments about JC refusing to come out, vs. Miami I think, but if he's not getting it done, then other options need to be explored. I wonder if any of this has to do with honoring promises made to his coaches in the 757 and the VT staff doesn't want this to turn into a Greg Boone thing.
I'd just be happy to never see the ugly ass orange jerseys & pants again
Drew Harris will commit to college when Derrick Rose returns
We should have signed in all maroon
I moved to Huntsville, Alabama after graduation. It is packed full of engineers. I heard from someone it's like the second highest percentage of engineers only to silicon valley.
Outside of Huntsville, though, is much more like the Alabama you hear in stereotypes.
I guess rushing yards, yes. I was more going in the directions of "wins responsible for" if that makes sense. I'd say Foster has been responsible for a lot more wins at VT than PJ at GT, in the same time frame.
I think posting this once was enough...

# | At what point can we say that GT is a terminally mediocre football program under PJ? Foster DEs who played DE in the NFL: Engleberger, Tapp. Worilds has had to become an OLB, as Cornell did.
ah, a convert. Could not agree more.
now just need Mason and French to come over from the dark side
All Alabama children should be named "War Eagle" is Auburn wins and "Krimson Tyde" if Bama wins. If you people want to act like complete fucking idiots 365 days a year, put some real skin in the game.
I am becoming more and more convinced that Paul Johnson isn't a great head coach.
His scheme all but abandons the pass. This serves Georgia Tech well because they are finely tuned at running the ball, however by design the Bees are a one dimensional team. This does not serve them well in close games where they need to score quickly and are forced to pass. Watching Georgia Tech try to pass the ball down late in a game is hilarious.
Paul Johnson out thinks himself far too often in close games. Think about a close Georgia Tech loss, now recall the dumb Johnson play call(s).
He can't recruit. His record over the last 4 seasons is the definition of mediocre. He won 19 games in his first 2 seasons with Chan Gailey's players. His teams since then haven't been nearly as talented.

Elmo's Potty Time is actually one of my son's favorite videos. It's pretty frickin funny too. My wife and I can recite the entire episode by heart. The joys of parenthood lol
