PJs offenses usually rank pretty high, no? I'd like to see GTs O vs VTs D rankings since PJ has been there.

holy cow this last part really threw me...I'm starting to feel like these reviews were lessons in a class all semester and that this write up is the preamble to the final exam. I almost feel like I have to submit a full blown game review following the Sun Bowl to French for grading...

I understand your sentiment with hating deep red colors...however, I will point out that USC's Cardinal is indeed different from VT's Chicago Maroon.

Anyway, it's refreshing to read comments from a rival fan who seems to have their head on straight. I dearly hope your Bruins lose (mostly because I'm a homer..duh, right?) but I wish you the most enjoyment for a majority of the game. I hope it's a clean game and an instant classic. Win, Lose ~~or Draw~~ I'm always proud to be a Hokie.

French again comes to the rescue on his trusty white steed. So to extrapolate on this: GT will only be successful so long as they have a talent/scheme advantage. We are starting to see the limits of this approach. This suggests that "pro-style" is the superior approach (in the long term). I think that's how Frank views the game, and Scot too? Assuming we keep the same staff around for the next few years it will be interesting to watch how the offence dust settles with the new recruits.

So far I've been happy with the (slow but steady) improvement.

My apologies! I'm normally nauseated at the color of maroon (due to our skirt wearing rival) but your uniforms look great. I'm hoping to see both schools come out in their home jerseys, but there are a few rumors about UCLA playing in their black alternate unis, which might force Va Tech into their whites. We'll see tomorrow.
