I remember that commercial pretty funny- no clue it was in bburg

I saw CFB out - he always shopped at Kroger on South Main Street (when I lived in the burg from 07-12). I also went to the same church as CFB during that same time.

That might have been me. I was completely surrounded by Bama fans and when Edmunds scored I lost it. Then some Bama fan told me to sit and stop cheering so loudly. She was ignored.

The last few paragraphs were beautiful.
I think so many people fall in love with this little town because of the people in the community. Whether it's your classmates, townies, or your engineering professor, it seems like everyone in Blacksburg really truly cares about one another. From the moment I stepped on campus for the first time almost 8 years ago, I knew I would be a Hokie. Blacksburg and Virginia Tech are just so different than every other school I've been to, and I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else.

1) Trey's run vs Bama
2) Ky Fuller calling his block for brother Ke Fuller's return vs Bama

honorable mention: Bama fan reaction to 1) above (someone have that gif?)

She can simmer my stew.
Make my all day gravy.
Make sauce from my tomatoes.
Run my pasta through the machine.
Pour on all the pesto she wants.
Lick the strawberry from my Neapolitan.
Roll my spicy meatballs.
Stuff my cannoli.
Put the lasagna in her oven.
Or just stand there, breathe and say, "Olive Oil."

Wins player of the year in a state that has good talent then drops below a guy committed to Washington State. LOLZZZ. I'd trust French's assessment of high school talent more than these "gurus". The only sport where I think recruiting rankings matter is basketball. Since a lot of those guys play in tournaments against each other, it's a lot easier to rank them against their peers.

EDIT: That almost comes off as an insult to French, which was obviously not the intent.

back in the mid-90s, ran into CFB at the Food Lion near Foxridge, he was standing in line next to me with his handheld basket. We exchanged bro nods very casually, which looking back was pretty cool for some reason.

This was early in the bowl run, has anybody seen him stopping for a loaf of bread on the way home from the office recently? Or doe he have assistants for that sort of thing now? :)

Best games were GT and Miami, because they felt like the Hokie football I was used to. Although I never got comfortable in the GT game until the clock hit 0.

Best moment was probably that blocked punt against Marshall. I think that got a bigger reaction than any score.
