It is my understanding that if there is a 5-way tie, the five teams get to create an All-Star team to compete against FSU in the ACCCG.
Walking out, arm in arm with my mom, a college kid behind us was complaining about the team and when he said "this team just doesn't have any heart!! UVA has more heart right now than our players!" I immediately turned around and said "whoa, don't go accusing people you don't know of that, you don't know what's in our players' hearts." My mom didn't even stop me from saying anything.
This is my biggest problem with the newest generation of Hokies (VTMidge's daughter and some others excluded!!): after a game doesn't go our way, they immediately resort to attacking on a personal level. That's just not acceptable.

I left at 6:45am and was parked at the Prices Fork public lot at 10:30am. Of course, I was going about 80 the entire way....
It would have been faster except for an accident on 460, just miles from VT that delayed me.
My son is not of drinking age, so I did not partake of any alcohol unfortunately. I just took the extra time to walk around campus with him and show him where I used to live, where I hung out, my fraternity house, etc.
We were in the stadium and seated just in time for the senior day ceremony.
Great weekend...although a win would have made it epic.

Definitely. I wish we could do the same. I think it's fairly clear when the guys are pumped up for a game and when they're not. They should be pumped up every week. For a while there, it looked like they were. Then, after some slip-ups, it's almost like they said to themselves "who are we kidding?" Sad to see, but I hope they bring their best for the hated rivals.
I might line up. Do they offer 100% UVA protection?

I've heard that Saban pretty much treats every weekend like a faceless opponent, because his attitude is that if we execute our game, we will win by imposing our will on the other team.

Haha good one. I'm dead serious though. There's like unwritten rules in the world of football and there's politics at play in the locker rooms (the incognito thing is really bringing some of the negative politics to light). Jersey numbers are kind of like a status thing (mainly with the black players).

Didn't they experiment with Dadi as a Gunner earlier this year? I think he would probably be a better choice for the coverage part of the team than Collins, though Colins might be better in the protection phase.

Yeah I understand that. I just really want to see him on the big stage against Salem, Dinwiddie and/or Lake Taylor. Just to prove he can do it against the BEST 4A teams (for consistency sake, I guess is what I'm looking for). I dig the kid and really hope he's the real deal.
Correct, and the head-to-head produces no result in that scenario, so it goes to the 2nd tie breaker which is divisional record, at which point we're rewarded for going 5-1 in the Coastal (and 0-2 in the Atlantic).
Thank you for adding a dose of reality/sanity to this topic - I swear, some people are absolutely insane. Beamer is going to retire someday, and we'd better cross our fingers that we get someone even remotely as good of a coach. We could easily be in UVA's shoes if we choose wrong.
