Oh, I wasn't aware that Kendall's decision was on ESNPU. That's a pretty big deal.
But it looks like it was at a camp and probably aired during college football live or something. I think if Keihn picks us at the UA bowl, that would be the "flashiest" commit we've gotten in a while. Also, maybe Nnadi announces during the Army bowl? I guess it's a possibility.

I have discussed the key technique on the inside zone all season. The tackle on the play side must take a flat lateral step to the outside and influence the defensive end to "widen out" with him.

One of the few drives I got to see live and when I saw the touchdown replay, I saw him "widen out" the DE. All I could think was, this is exactly what french was talking about. What a well executed block. Now that they gave the RBs enough touches last week, lets hope they build on that and one of them gets over 100 yards.

Well, Scott better get some short yardage plans ramped up. Also, choose red zone plays carefully where the offense can get into short yardage on 4th down. I heard we have a walk on kicking in practice now. Cody was let off to easy each time he made a mistake and it's finally caught up to him. Does Cody lose his academic scholarship as well?

This seems really judgmental and uncalled for. Am I surprised his career ended like this? No. But I trust that Beamer didn't give him so many chances purely on his kicking skills. Beamer always stood by him saying he was a good kid (although a clearly troubled one) and the guy had plenty of close friends on the team. Not saying we should all be supporting the guy but I do believe you want to see a troubled person get help for himself. Just some common decency.

First, CJ ya let us down. Good luck in what ever you're gonna do but clearly it isn't gonna be football. Think about that he might have played his last football game ever. I assume most of us have played our last organized competitive at a relatively high level already and I bet most of us wish we could still play. I hope you turn your life around I really do.

Second why I am actually posting, this year and the more recent years we have seen transfers and now this all of this should mean that we have more scholarships opening up? Does this mean we can now recruit more or bring in more players to the program?

I've posted this long ago but feel the need to say it again.

That reason is crap. He's the #1 recruit in the country and would be insane if he's not going to school to be a pro football player. Not to mention we have a damn marketing department and any player would have the chance to make plenty of connections to the sports industry in his time with the program. I don't buy that an undergrad degree in sports marketing is that much more specialized than marketing either.

That all being said, it's his decision and his life anyway. I think he just wants to go somewhere else and wanted to let VT down easy.

Myself and the rest of the pack are under strict "no fucking kicking, this isn't soccer" orders from our coach. Honestly though, in D3 men's rugby, the only drop kicks I ever see are kickoffs.

Sidenote: YAY RUGBY

I wish Cody the best of luck but he was giving far to many chances as it is already. I'm curious what he did this time...but Beamer did the right thing and I for one trust his judgement. Having said that, we don't need to kick any FG's!

The "???" was because of that unknown. Obviously we need to take care of business and get some help along the way, but if we make it to Charlotte I fully expect it to be a great experience, win or lose.

And besides, focusing on Maryland, that's the team's job. My only focus needs to be on selecting which variety of bourbon to consume pre-game.

I don't know about tickets for the UVA game as they actually sell fairly well compared to other games. You should, however, be able to get them for cheaper once game time is announced. If it's a noon game (which it should be), the tickets drop pretty big.

As for things to do before the game, I'll need to see how ticket sales are going, but the Charlottesville Hokies have the Alumni Tailgate going at Fry Springs Station starting 3 hours before game time. The cost is 20 bucks per ticket and it's essentially a BBQ and Pizza Buffet...For info and the link to purchase tickets.

EDIT: spelling error corrected and also, max of 100 tickets allowed...will update when I find out from the organizer how many have been sold already.

getting Tim Settle would be amazing, VT could build up well on the DL. I always believe that championships are won with great talent along the DL

I googled monochrome and couldn't find anything for pictures. Is that the same as hydrochrome helmets?
