one comment I would like to make, is that we really really really should not boo LT on senior night, not only is it kinda disrespectful but it sends a really bad message to recruits. I hope our fan base has enough sense not to boo even if people think he may deserve it we need to stay positive and support our team even through the darkest days...hang in there guys there is a light at the end of the tunnel I know its hard trust me I'm not pleased with this game either but we've got to hang in there, good things will come!

Keep in mind that Miami is severely overrated. I expect tonight to be reminiscent of the FSU-Clemson game.

Are they better than us? Well, if the VT that showed up these last two weeks goes down to Coral Gables, there won't be much for us to say in our own defense.

I would like to wish everyone well tonight...alcoholic beverage producers all across the land will see a huge uptick in sales and consumption for the Virginia Tech Football Fan demographic tonight

I don't think Leal is the future. I think they would much rather have Ford be an early enrollee and then work him into starting. It has been said many times before, but if Leal were really a better option, I think we would have seen him at least once this season...I don't think many QB's with this O-line, running game, etc. would be better than LT. Mostly I feel bad for him but I will point back to the beginning of this season when a lot of people were saying this is an 8-4 rebuilding year...well..right on schedule there.

The fact that people are still projecting him that high really says something about our coaching.

I was yelling at the TV screen "snap the damn ball!!!!!"

My argument for benching Logan is simple. Every game, he's making absolutely unforgivable mistakes, and it seems to get out of hand. You see him on the sideline, he's shaking off his coaches and ignoring them. His head is just not in the right place, and he needs to be sat down so that he can get a clue, get focused again, and start playing better.

I'm laid up with the flu and missed most of the game.
I must be having fever-induced hallucinations because I think I just saw that Tech lost to BC?

Constructive= Free Mark Leal!

As much as I would love to beat Miami, I think beating a top 25 team is a longshot for this team after this performance.

Logan I don't think is the worst. Just maybe the most sporadic. I have never seen someone look like an NFL starter on 1 play and then like my 10 year old nephew the next play. He is a great guy and deserves to finish his career off as the starter though. No doubt. I just wish he could be a lil more consistent.

It's pretty simple. Don't turnover the ball and we'll beat these mediocre to alright teams yet Logan keeps taking these insane risks and the insistence on running the read/option rather than the power run is asinine.

We shouldn't rush to judgement with Lefty and he should be given a fair shot considering the terrible state the offense was in before in addition to the lack of talent on that side of the ball. BUT if Georgia has another bad season next year (or even finishes terrible) and Mark Richt is let go then wouldn't you want us to do everything we could to get Mike Bobo? He was the preferred choice to Lefty to begin with. In a perfect world Lefty would be shifted to just QB coach.

On a positive note, BIG congratulations to Cody Journell. Hope it finally clicked for him.

All you LT supporters .. get off it. Eight turnovers in two weeks. How can you defend that?

Career record 391 yards on a career worst day.

I'll give you that one, it was a really really bad play but come on man, that wasn't the only bad play in the game. Blame goes to so many so Dr of hokienomics and other haters are being pissy

Everyone on the Bench Logan train will just have to have the "I can't wait til he is gone" mentality because he is not going anywhere. If/when FSU wins tonight, we still have a shot to win the division next week against an overrated Miami team. This team for the duration of the year is going to be Logancentric so just deal with it. Next year we can see how the offense plays as a team instead of focusing so much on one player.

Also, anyone who thinks we will barely squeak by UVA obviously hasn't watched a game of theirs. They are just downright awful.

I think that was a little uncalled for...

I've been calling to Logan to be benched for weeks. It's not a knock on him. It's on the coaches. They should not be leaving him in games when he's is so off. It's only going to get worse. Next weeks he's going to come out and try to score every time he touches the ball. He's clearly pressing and his confidence is shot. It's spilling over to the rest of the team. Receivers are trying too hard to catch the ball (instead of just catching), RBs are trying to make every run a homer, D is trying to be super human (causing missed assignments and poor tackling).

Just take Logan out for a few series. Let Leal be a game manager. Maybe good things will happen. Maybe Logan will reset his brain. Maybe it will be a shit show. They only thing I know is if they leave him like this his draft stock will completely disappear.

Frank preaches loyalty. His loyalty should be to the entire team, fans and his bosses (alums who pay his salary). When you're loyal to one player is causes too many problems.

(I realize this is probably Loefler's call...but Frank has to make it if he won't).

Yes, yes. Everyone jump for joy and don't speak about the elephant in the room! I'm all for not wanting to bash this team. They are young guys and pour their hearts and souls into this team. However, I see nothing wrong with pointing out that the offense is consistently horrifically bad. There is just maybe more constructive way to do so.

I disagree with praising something that is garbage.

Yeah, agree there on edmunds. But damn LT is having a "what the f**k were you thinking" play every game.

I'm not sure who said it, but I remember reading on here after the Marshall game and someone had talked about the game and at the end of the post said "With that being said, we're going to lose some games this year". We all knew this was a rebuilding year.

It's taking everything for me to not lose my shit and not rip Logan Thomas and Charlie "rock monster hands" Meyer. But I won't. I'm gonna keep it 100.

Josh Stanford, guys. Joshua motherfucking Stanford is the truth. He'll take this team far with a better quarterback in Andrew Ford/Bucky Hodges. I'm excited for the future, guys.

That's as positive as I get. Now to decimate my liver. Wish me luck.

I thought logan played a pretty good game but once his INT came, it was like a switch went off and flipped back to 2012 logan. But, I will give him credit, he came back towards the end there. I think the issue with the run game is the line can't block well. I don't know what Loeffler is thinking, but he saw what we saw: 5 or 6 BC players in the box and he still chose not to run the ball forcibly up the middle like Stiney would have, and there is probably a reason for that.
