Hey now, my Geography degree has been paying off quite well thank you very much! How many of you got to take Geography of Wine with Boyer and it counted towards your major??
That's what I thought!
Kick-off times are set by the TV networks, not the school. Outside of scheduling big non-conference matchups that will be picked for prime-time slots, they have basically no control over them.
Just a heads up.
I got it and filled it out. One comment I had was get better at getting the fans into the stadium. I was in line outside the stadium long enough on Saturday that I missed the flyover.
He will be enrolling early.
I hope he can enroll early and be here for spring. If he blows people doors off make him the QB as a True Freshman, otherwise lets try and redshirt him behind Leal or whoever.
I want better organized effect games. Give out shirts at the seats, really make the stadium orange or maroon. Don't just hope we do it.
WOOO HOOO FOE RENSICS IS HERE
You, sir, have outdone yourself, once again. **Applause**
- Holy Cross basically took the UVa route and deemphasized football. <- This had me rolling.
In my response I tried to emphasize the current lack of reward system for being a good fan, and the dwindling mentality of students toward the team that results directly from it.
1. Hokies - defense will score and beat the spread
2. Wisconsin
3. Michigan
4. (coin flip) Gators
5. Red Raiders
6. da U
Glennon never lost to Duke... just saying.
Love this site and this thread! Been here a long time but only comment on rare occasions. One day I will have enough legs to vote to show my appreciation for all the great info and laughs. PLEASE no free legs to get me over the top. I need to earn them.
As a season ticket holder, I would like to see the students get to the game before the kickoff, like the other fans. Penn State has a flood of students rushing to their seats on a first come, first served basis AN HOUR AND A HALF before kickoff. The student lottery system they implemented is way to "laissez faire" - Go back to waking up at 3am to get in line for a ticket.
Also, bring back 'Stick it In" and the Corps of Cadets playing the Goodbye Song.
How many of you remember when the Corp played it, by the way?
Had to do it.
touche...lets try that out on you, shall we?
Yes.
My experiment confirmed a previous assertion stating that giving you a down vote it will automatically result in 4 up votes for you.
You're welcome!
I also filled one of those out. If my input is worth anything to the powers at be, "Stick It In" should be coming back.
Eh the kid is talented, he just uses his talents to make hollow and stupid pop music that makes teenage girls panties drop instead of making real music. I doubt many of us would do any different if we were in his situation as teenagers. It's his fans who are insufferable and he had become a douche waffle lately
Yeah I read that part and laughed because of our previous exchange

Not sure what being a "tough old bird" has to do with accepting a slur about sexual orientation. I don't think anything. If you want to use that phrase, go elsewhere.
Thanks for not being a tool, Joe!
I got a survey as well, but I'm not a student or a season ticket holder. I did recently purchase tickets to the Duke game through the hokietickets.com website.
Right...I didn't understand why Anish didn't correct him during a commercial break...
It's cool. Metallica is just laying a trap for him by being nice. They'll soon invite him over to the house, and then they'll cook him...and eat him.

Yes. That's true. But when we publish our schedule (before TV) we book our games as 1:00. I say make them all 3:30 and then move them if TV requires. I doubt ESPN360 is making us their marque noon game
Plus Weaver asked the ACC to not give us a Thurdsay night home game.
