Your brother is/was correct. Gumby's XL cheese sticks. I have many fond memories of ordering these, eating 1 and then passing out. Nothing better than waking up to a full box of cheese sticks in the morning. Hungover me would always high five drunk me for that.
Gotta agree with the pecan pie love. I don't always eat pie, but when I do I go for Pecan or Chocolate Meringue (but only if Grandma made it). Cherry pie is getting an artificial bump simply because of Warrant. Either way, if it's the fourth quarter and there are 30 seconds left on the clock and need a score, I'm reaching for cake.
I was on the track team running 70+ miles per week for 5 years (redshirted) and left VT 20 pounds heavier. Just saying.

Yes, he will be given a role as a "special assistant" within the athletic department upon termination of his contract, for a period of eight years.
Weaver said the extension also includes a stipulation that either side can terminate the contract after Jan. 1, 2013, as long as there are 10 days of notification provided. If that were to happen, Beamers eight-year agreement to move into a special assistant role would begin almost immediately.

I seem to recall someone talking about Beamer being a special athletic department correspondent to the football program, or football operations director, or something of that nature. Such that he'd be in charge of everything football while another person did the AD job for the rest of the sports. Maybe it was just speculation on these boards, but it seemed like a good idea.

Oh, I'm only like a year older than you. I think I was in 8th (fall 2005) or 9th ('06) grade when this happened. I was actually at Manchester in 6th grade for that program, then got moved to Matoaca as they opened up another one "closer" to my home (as the crow flies, sure. Not as the car/bus drives though. My middle school was next to farmland). Pretty sure that program is starting to fall apart.

Cool beans dude. What are you studying that took you from NM to VT? Never been to France myself but I suspect you will have a great time. Travel the countryside though and the Spanish border. I hear that's where it' at. If you ever end up over on my side give me a post, and I'll be there for the posole if I am around Carlsbad on New Years.

Even though I'm part of Team Cake I have to strongly disagree with Cherry pie being #1. Chocolate cream and Pecan are far superior.
They've been playing Enter Sandman over the HT's for years. Doesn't really matter if the whole stadium can hear us at the time or not, IMO. It gives the entire team time to get through the tunnel, and gives the Band a definite mark of when it's time to break and start making their way over to the SEZ.
I find it ironic that one of the biggest debates on this site is cake or pie...then this...

One of my friends in college ordered pokey sticks one night while she was blacked out. The next morning she woke up and magically had a box of pokey sticks next to her in bed. Said it was the greatest morning ever.
