I personally think BC is being underrated here. They hung tough with FSU and Clemson, which is certainly more than Pitt has shown me, and probably more than GT or Duke can say either. Their running game has been very effective and could easily control the ball and i think we need to take that game seriously.

I highly doubt Saban would leave Bama for another college job..he would only leave for the NFL. He doesn't need more money..he is the second highest paid coach in ALL SPORTS behind Coach K.

If he would decide to leave Bama it would be due to the fact that the NCAA would be ready to put them on probation or some sort of scandal..we have seen recently all the reports of players taking money who played for Nick.

btw ...

duke mayo is the only mayo i use (lightly.)

Assume these are UVA grads behind the counter...because, you know...that's where they work after graduation.

I wouldn't bother reading too much into this...if/when Saban leaves Alabama that's when we should discuss it. Until then, don't waste the energy. I seriously doubt he would leave but we'll see what happens...

We just have to get Ohio State to lose so they're out of the picture. Because if they win out, Oregon and FSU lose, then they'll play in the Natty. I think we all know what will happen then, more annoying "SEC" chants and SEC circle jerking all off season and through their obligatory 3 community college beat down teams.

Maybe the his wife was just helping his daughter house hunt? Besides I don't think Saban's agent met with Texas, he just had a phone call if I read the other articles correctly.

As a Psych major, this really peaks my interest. I myself haven't studied bullying a ton, but a few of my classes have at least touched on it. My biggest concern with this isn't just that people need to have tougher skin, or anything like that, but that this school district, like other school districts definitely has actual bullying in their schools every day. Resources that could be spent on alleviating those problems are being spent on this, which is conflicting. It's sad, because you'd rather see these resources be used on bigger bullying issues, but I am glad that the administration is at least taking each issue seriously, no matter how ridiculous the claim seems.

I can't believe the parent filed the complaint, but I applaud the school district for taking the complaint seriously. I just hope they make the right call on the issue.

Maybe it's just somewhere to live in the offseason. Doesn't make sense, but Saban can afford it. Sean Payton lives in Dallas in the offseason.

In other news if Saban coached the Cowpies I think that would be the apocalypse right then and there.

He will coach in Texas, but it will be working for Jerry Jones.

I've always thought that is a perfect match. Saban wasn't bad in the NFL and wants another shot.

For the record, I edited that almost immediately. It would have burnt my soul as well to leave it.

No apology necessary.

all this sec on the way down talk is terrific, but if they win their 8th straight this year, we'll be right back where we started.

Incredible observation and great graphics

At the 2006 Clemson game my buddy said watch Bowden when he gets on one knee and starts chewing a blade of grass like some bewildered farmer its over. Sure enough in the 3rd quarter there it was.

well, there are a lot of people who wear orange and maroon during football season and baby blue during basketball season. obviously not folks who are on our level of fandom, but there's plenty of them. hell, i remember josh oglesby (i think) talking about how he pulled for unc in hoops.

that being said, there's a lot of hoos who have other schools they pull for in football. i'm not making that up, i've met several people like that.
