I can't overstate how valuable their play has been for this team.
I swear I get sooo tired of hearing about the SEC being loaded since they "beat each other up" on a weekly basis. The ACC has been competitive, and doing the same thing, for years. All you hear is that in the ACC there's a bunch of mediocre, 2nd tier teams that cannot seperate from one another and have a truly dominant team. Ahhh the hypocrisy of ESPN.
I will say though that I love watching the SEC teams slide down in the polls!!!!! GO HOKIES

My son plays in a travel league and has tournaments frequently. Recently, we played in one where the max "points" you could receive for the game was in a 6-0 shutout. 3 for the win. 1 for the shutout. 1 for every goal. BUT, if you won by more than 6, they started reducing the number of points for each goal. So, a 6-0 game would get you 10 points. A 10-0 win would get you 6 points. I though this was a little absurd. I mean all the teams PAID to be there in a tournament, and if you cannot compete, then don't put yourself in that position. In one game, we were up 6-0 and never crossed the 30 yard line in the second half just playing keep away. To me that's more embarrassing for the other team, chasing the ball around like a dog for the whole second half.
I wouldn't feel bullied. Mad? Yes. Frustrated? Yes. Enough to take a cheap shot at one of their star guys? Maybe. But I wouldn't feel bullied.
They've scored 21 points against us? WTF. Unacceptable.
They have fared much more poorly recently, their recent accomplishments including providing a springboard for Steve Spurrier to launch himself onto the dreams of Redskins fans which he crushed wholly.
The husband is a Redskins fan. Every time he sees Steve Spurrier on TV, he tells me how much he hates Steve Spurrier.

The other famous child is the son of John (Cougar) Mellencamp, who is famous for singing rock songs in the 70s and 80s about being country, changing his name regularly and providing the soundtrack to a horrible truck commercial which I will NOT include here out of courtesy to everyone.
I saw John Cougar (as he called himself back then) open for Heart at the Capitol Center (as it was called back then), thus giving myself the mother of all headaches the next day. So let's pay back the younger Mellencamp with some good ol' Lane Stadium noise.
