In my college apartment (we called it the 8300A if that solves any mysteries) drunken mario kart / mario party were always dangerous. Someone always ended up rage quitting and screaming profanities walking back to their rooms. How I miss those days...
Funny you should ask...I actually haven't done much traveling abroad (yet). I grew up in New Mexico and moved to Blacksburg last year for grad shcool. BUT, I recently found out that I'll be spending next semester in France to finish up my research.
I feel the same way. When I went to Maggie Walker in high school, Godwin (ranked 1 in the country, had parade all Americans) would kill us every year (this was 10-14 years ago). In the second half they would put their starting keeper on the field playing forward since they would be up 4 or 5 by now. Our goal as a defense would be to stop him from scoring. Even if we lost 8-0, this was a point of pride and a small victory we could take from the game.
May be heading there this christmas when I visit my folks. I head down there every once in a while. You can get a bucket of beers and food for stupid cheap.
