He was very talented but spent a year on scout team learning. You're right there were a few lean years for the run game in those days as there were a few big recruits that either didn't pan out or exited early. I always thought Jahre Cheesman should have been given more of a shot as every time he touched it he went for 4 or 5 in trash time. Lets not forget the Dustin Pickle! There was another Va Beach kid that im forgetting that was a bowling ball type guy either got injured or excused??? Now I'm just bored and rambling. I don't like our current read option. Too slow developing. Maybe Lefty is just toying with future opponents and the run game will bust out when it matters. Also waiting for the tip of Grimes spear to bludgeon someone!

Let's see, UVA has already lost two in-conference games to Pitt and Maryland, and they have yet to play Duke, GT, Clemson, UNC, Miami, and The Real Tech. I'm not seeing to many Ws in that group, if any. I think Mikey's on his way out, probably within a couple of weeks after Signing Day.
Fairly sure it's in his contract with the devil to club 5 baby seals daily, and 10 on gameday.
It makes you wonder sometimes...why would recruits want to go play for something like that?

I'm not against them so much as saying I would prefer they weren't in the game. The game of football would be just fine without any of these hits.
They won't sign both (or either) of those two guys.
Under "Other Skills: Member of TKP", resume will always be moved to the top of the pile.

I don't know that I would want him after he had all of ZERO interest in us during his recruitment. He may be a great talent, but I'd rather have a CJ Reavis.

The fact that they have verbal commitments from two of the top 10 players in the high school class of 2014 makes want to throw glass bottles at a wall.
I honestly don't know what Mike London promises these kids.

Man I'd love to have him, but I don't think Beamer will go after a committed recruit like Saban will (and rightfully so, Beamer is class). Then again I'm positive Saban would club baby seals if it mean he had a slightly better chance to land even a 3 star recruit.
