Excellent as always. Loved the Savage Garden play. Very nicely done.

I'm pretty mad at myself for not seeing that before I posted because I've told everyone else in my family that they've spelled his name wrong at least once... (i.e. Byrne, Burn, Burns, you get the point)

Good catch, turkey leg to you.

Agreed, Byrn not going all-the-way and Rogers not getting that ball two more inches over the line were my two biggest disappointments on Saturday.

I wanted one of them to get that touchdown SO BAD.

"Wow son, we are just so proud of you on earning that scholarship!"

"Thanks pops, but really, about that money....I may have bet that Hopkins wouldn't get within 30 yards of scoring a TD this year and now Sam Rogers is leaving me scary voicemails. PLEASE DEAR GOD HELP ME!!!"

If FSU beats Miami, they will get that 3:30 game. They may not even need to beat Miami, it might be announced the week before.

Syracuse is a brand and the 3:30 slot usually goes to the best team.

I wear the same shirt and jersey, eat the same brand bratwurst the same way and same beverage in the same spot. Unless I am at the game and I have my ritual there too. I have a problem. I did try to change it up at the Marshall game and wear the white 2000 MV7 jersey but had to change in the 4th quarter to the Maroon (LSU inspired) current look. Felt like that pulled us back in. Superstitions are ridiculous but I can't help it.

Louisville -16.5
Virginia Tech -9.5
Oklahoma -13.5
LSU -7.5
Oregon -13.5
Texas A&M -6.5

Seriously, that's all favorites. what's wrong with me? that's not going to happen...

Sooooo, so many superstitions over the years. It's hard to remember them all.

Special articles of clothing, only going in the same gate (that was back when the same people worked the same gate EVERY SINGLE GAME, but that paid off because someone stole our tickets once and our gate dude let us in anyway), using the same route to get to campus, putting up the parking pass right when you get on Southgate, having theme food based on who we were playing, touching the piece of HokieStone we have at the tailgate, rubbing the little brother's head on big plays, etc.

But my family collectively decided to scrap all of them after the debacle of 2012.

I will say this about the gate tradition... We were forced to stop using our gate when they expanded the South Endzone, because our original gate is no more. BUT, we have started using the gate that is the closest to where our original gate was just this season and look at how well we've done... Just saying...

So just to be safe, I'll be leading my family into that gate this week. So much for scraping the superstitions this year...

I really want to help do this for the UVA game. Pretty damn funny. but we need to beat those ketchup pouring wannabe steelers this weekend!

Things I know about Pittsburgh:

  1. If you go there, eat Primanti Brothers and get eggs (MULTIPLE) on your sandwich.
  2. Get cheese too, because you don't want anyone to mistake you for French.
  3. Their casino is the worst casino ever. They don't comp drinks which is silly.

you have done it again. great stuff. I wish I could be at the game this weekend. Bummed.

I'm 100% serious about Logan. I've said probably a thousand times that I'm "out on Logan", but in all honesty he's taken way too much crap for what he isn't, and not given enough praise for what he is. We all should have known that this would happen to the quarterback post-Tyrod, and Logan just happens to be the guy to follow him.
