with only Duke and Maryland left, I would say no then...

I think the offense continues to improve and the defense plays like they have. I do think going to the Miami game 8-1 is very obtainable. Miami is a tough read when it comes to predicting who wins. Its a bit too early I think. The good news is that if we beat Miami, there is no reason we won't be in Charlotte.

I think he was referring to home games.

Also, I LOL'd so loud at the office at the "Roll Damn Randy" quip. Goodness that was grand.

They didn't look good at all against FSU. Hell, they looked flat out terrible. But if you look at their schedule they shouldn't have more than 3 total losses by that game. So 6-3 is the worst case. 7-2 is best.

The other conference games that week are:
Syracuse @ FSU
Miam @ Duke
UNC @ Pitt
NC State @ BC
GT @ Clemson (Thursday)

I'd say based on that we're gonna get a 3:30 game that week.

If Miami and VT are both ranked, it will more than likely be prime time.

Sadly enough, I'm hoping that Duke will be a noon game as I don't want to not watch the last half of the game due to plans later in the evening.

I hope you were being serious about Logan. He's a class act, well kept and spoken individual, and like you said, has done everything asked of him up to this point. It's not his fault he has been put into the shoddy situations up to this point in his career. Maybe he would have been a damn good tight end, but we will never know. I know I can say, I'm glad he's on our team.

Miami could be 3:30 ABC or night on ESPN.
and I could see the BC game being either noon or 7:30 ESPN2, with Miami-F$U at 3:30 on ABC...

"he refers to his man-to-man coverage of wide receivers as Exum Island Daycare"

I love this guys attitude

i usually get way too nervous on gamedays as kickoff approaches. when that happens, i notify twitter and switch from beer to bourbon or from bourbon to more bourbon (e.g. "TOO CLOSE FOR BEER. SWITCHING TO BOURBON").

i feel like there's other gameday traditions that happen after that, but memory is hazy.

Their earliest national titles were won under the stewardship of Glenn "Pop" Warner before he went on to found the level of football that UVA currently competes at.

One of Hitler's favorite tanks was the Panzer V "Panther." Just saying we need to beat them this time around!

Generals

given that we were playing unc...qb'd by Bryn Renner(usually, not against us tho), we should really make sure we get Bryn and Byrn correct...the first time I read this post confused the hell outta me

"while farting on playbooks containing the spread offense." is pure gold. Actually laughed out loud at that one. Good work!

Rutgers
Virginia Tech
Oklahoma
Florida
Oregon
Texas A&M

Butgers +16.5 too many points for a Thursday night game. Bridgewater will shine, but Butgers will cover...
Pittsburgh +9.5 aPm plays us tight...
Oklahoma -13.5 Beef. Its what's for dinner.
LSU -7.5 Tiger bait!
Washington +13.5 Quack Quack Huskie chomp.
aTm -6.5

What worries me most this week is that I feel pretty damn confident in most of these picks. So here goes:

Rutgers at Louisville -16.5 - Louisville. Rutgers can't play D and the Cardinals are a major step up in competition. Also, the AAC is insanely awful.
Pittsburgh at Virginia Tech -9.5 - Pitt. I can't lay nearly 10 points on the Hokies considering the absolute beating they took last year at Pitt. I'm just hoping to get out with a W.
Oklahoma -13.5 vs Texas - Oklahoma. Stoops has owned Brown and he won't shy away from running up the score when he gets the chance. OU is pretty deep at skill positions so they don't have much reason to ease up anyway.
Florida at LSU -7.5 - Florida. This is my toughest pick of the week, but I think the Gators cover the points as their offense has maybe found a better rhythm having a more athletic QB at the helm.
Oregon -13.5 at Washington - Oregon. Despite Wash being much improved, I have to roll with Oregon until they prove otherwise. I'm not sure Washington's defense can slow down the Oregon offense quite like Stanford has in recent years.
Texas A&M -6.5 at Ole Miss - TAMU. You have to recognize that Manziel makes plays and racks up points and Ole Miss' offense will struggle to keep up. Ole Miss is an improved program but they aren't ready to take down the big boys just yet.

Jimbo's Wife without a doubt wears the pants in that relationship. Random Question...I had the best seats ive ever had at a Hokie game during the beatdown we gave FSU in the ACC Championship in Charlotte and I remember we were literally blowing them out before Beamer (once again) threw in all the 2nd and 3rd string players in the 2nd half and FSU got within two TD's...but what I was getting at.....Does anybody remember Jimbo calling 3 timeouts in the last minute when we had the ball?? I just remember everyone booing the hell out of him, even the FSU fans. The Game was clearly over but he wanted VT to wait just a little longer before we got to hold up the ACC trophy and start eating Oranges.

Great story. Too bad they never referred to him as Exumtaur or Saint Exum
