Everyone's OL is banged up yet 97 (!) of them run the ball better than we do.

Eh. Not as harsh as I thought it would be. I don't disagree with the points Pollack DID make, but out of context I think that topic spun a little out of control. Fowler didn't really help, kinda put words in Pollack's mouth. If the topic at hand was Rice, I hear Pollack's point. Weird stuff for GameDay.

EDIT: SI is following up on this, and it looks like WorldOfIsaac and I agree. I agree with pretty much all of them, but Fowler isn't clean in this, either.

Yeah hell yeah. Welcome to the family, Ricky. List of things to bring to college:

1) Your lunchpail

Well that's that. You can get the rest of your stuff when you get down here (GT RBs heads-on-a-pike, Miami QBs headstones, and Bar-B-Q'ed LOLUVA legs [which are kind of like turkey legs, but much less talented and more presumptuous]). You can get these things at Lane Stadium. Best part is that the schools mentioned actually PAY TO DELIVER THEM TO YOU.

Pencils, books, and the like can be found at the on-campus bookstore.

Food can be found at West End, or just read this

I haven't looked yet, but I'm guessing StingTalk is in full panic mode now.

UGH! Thank you all. It looks like WHVL claims to have had it for me. I'll have to look closer at the basic cable channels next time.

Goddammit...

I saw that, too. I thought his expression looked like, "I thought they said there was going to be a game here." [Looks at map, checks surroundings] "Yes, this looks like the place..."

Yah, true. I'll of course buy it towards the end of the 4th but an entire Quarter was dedicated to the run, and part of the 3rd as I recall. (I was drinking so could be wrong there.) I don't think you stop what you are being successful at before so early unless there is a reason too. And I from previous games you can see Lefty was working on different aspects of the the playbook to let the offense develop. So I think it was a clear decision to run, run, run

But yes, classic Beamer there.

this isn't the best timing but still you have to believe this team has a different feel about themselves. This is the first time we have been ranked through six games, the kids have worked for the ranking, I just have that feeling they will do their absolute best to prove they belong in the top 25 and really hammer pitt.

I'm pretty sure they have the longest winning streak against us of all ACC teams (4 in a row now). None of our 2013 opponents (Bama included) had more than a 1-game winning streak against us, and Clemson has a 3-game streak. We handed Syracuse a big L in 2003, the last time we played them.

If all of a sudden this season starts to go the way of 2007, except we keep winning, we'd almost certainly get in with 1 loss (to Bama) and wins over Miami and Clemson, over anyone else with 2 losses. But things would seriously have to hit the fan for that to happen, and I'm not holding my breath.

"Showing love" doesn't mean you have to tweet them. I just favorite or retweet if it's something about VT. Don't see the big deal there.

Oh, that's right, it's now called the "ACC Network brought to you by Raycom Sports", whereas a few years ago it was called the "Raycom/Lincoln Financial ACC Sports Network". Forgot about that.

Definitely. Pitt is always a challenge, and they're probably the one team with the best claim of having owned our asses for a considerable amount of time. I hope the coaches have our guys' minds right like they did this past week. Look past no one, and exact revenge for a bad loss last year.

I'd like to believe this roster won't lose to them, this time around. But the Panthers have a real eerie tendency to upset us, under these very circumstances. We need to welcome them into the ACC, the proper way. Whereas FSU gashed them with their offense, I think we can outdo them with a defensive beat-down.
