SWEET! (now come on Nnadi!)

love that perspective so much. awesome job!
DyNoMite!
Let's get Nnadi too and then start moving onto 2015!
Hell yeah!
Yep.
We're not a well-oiled Ferrari like Oregon, we're like an F-150.
But we can still get the job done.
Lunch pail, baby!
Boom. Big get. I absolutely love his film and measureables.
Hope we see him do this a lot.

YAISSSSSSS

if you take out the Alabama disaster and the Western Carolina patsy (the toughest and easiest games on the schedule), you start to see a clearer picture of what kind of passer Thomas has been this year: the senior is 81-for-130 against ECU, Marshall, GT and UNC, a 62.3 percent completion rate, about in line with his preseason goal. He has seven touchdowns, three picks and is averaging 238.25 yards per game in that span. Those are pretty solid numbers. And he appears to be gaining comfort in Scot Loeffler's system every game, standing in the pocket longer, going through reads, making checkdown passes.
The results speak for themselves.

Bringing this back, since this is how Bud probably is feeling today.

OUTSTANDING!!! Welcome to the Hokie Family, Ricky!
Thanks, I looked at Wikipedia and thought the same thing.
They won't blow anyone out, but... It doesn't matter. There is determination that outlasts the struggles, and a defense that just doesn't stop. I love this team. They've redeemed their pride, and already in the ACCCG talks.
Hell yea man! I love these, looking forward to the next one. Like someone said above, I haven't been to LANE yet this year so this was much needed. Can't wait to be back for the maryland game!!
Sidenote: Awesome job of getting the unc guy after he got ejected. Would have been great if you would have gotten the actual swing on the field since #goacc network didn't get it from any camera.
Or maybe Beamer said 'Run the clock out.'
That was old school Beamer-ball: Get a lead and the only thing that stands in your way of victory is the clock.
Only problem was that UNC got the ball most of 3rd qtr.
Props to the D again to hold them.
That was sweet! What are your camera specs. That slow motion is awesomely smooth
I wonder if there is a UVA board somewhere that asks: "5 thoughts after losing to Ball State".
Ummm......
1) London
2) How could that great defense let that happen? (lol)
3) London
4) What state is Ball State even in? (lol, I really know, just for fun)
5) Would London make a better campus cop?

Benedict, love him, is not a tackle.
He can't seal the edge with a fast, mobile pass rusher.
But, like you said, Grimes is getting the best, healthy five out there that he can.
And props to the players to gut it out in whatever position they find themselves in.
I'm excited about our future, but waiting for the O-line to develop is like watching paint dry.
Lemme "glass half full" this bad boy on the suckage that is our run-blocking: This stacking the box is going to do wonders (I believe sooner than later) when opponents start respecting the pass more and then "5 on 8" becomes "5 on 5" -or even better "5 on 4" and then the line starts punishing with all the free time they'll have and experience of dealing with clogged line play.
Disclaimer: I don't know sh!t about play calling, line play or football strategy and personnel in general. I just love watching the ill-tempered woodland fowl and the concept of 'roadhousing' the other team and am still jacked up from that payback win yesterday.

One thought after reading Andy's Five Thoughts.
Where is Aaron McFarling? Why is he not posting his articles on here, too? The only time I read his articles is when they're linked from yours. And next to his columns, there is a picture of you.
Is Aaron McFarling just a pen-name allowing you to pull two salaries? I've found you out, Bitter...

Jacorien Payton next?
