From what I remember Big Lu was evaluated by our staff, and they obviously saw the potential. Then apparently he trained his ass off and really rose to a whole new level just prior to arriving at tech. His high school coach told the tech coaches something along the lines of they will be very surprised when he arrives on campus. As it turned out he was very much right.

Look people have been going hard about HD this past week and to be honest I'm tired of talking about her. I don't know what he meant or if he was being sarcastic about it the first post. I read his response as I do everyone's and I put what my opinion is on it whether I agree or disagree were not all going to agree on everything.
How can you not love a line with Dadi, Nnadi, Walker, and Ekanem. It's so much fun to say.
Note: It would been even better with a Hand, Dadi, Nnadi, Walker.
How do I know Pie is the champion?
I'm really surprised how he's playing this year. He had some injuries that kind of slowed him down last year, but he's really playing like a late first to second round pick right now. I hope he can keep this up. I hear a lot about how Exum is the best DB on the team from a lot of writers outside of VT when he was hurt before the season, but In my opinion I think its Kyle. I feel like Facyson and Kendall has had the opportunity to to learn from Kyle and Coach Gray I just hope they continue to grow because next year they will be our starters.

Imagine that, we actually show that we can win real games and they stop trashing us? What an odd coincidence.
UNC did the same thing with Butch Davis. They fired him after Signing Day 2011 so they were able to hang on to some highly touted recruits like Travis Hughes, Landon Turner, Kiaro Holts and Marquise Williams. All 4 of those guys had VT in their top 2 or 3, so it would have been interesting to see where they would have landed if Davis had been fired at the end of the 2010 season.
