I like that guy a lot, but I feel like his parents may or may not found some designer inspiration.
I don't know if I'd call it a trap game, but the boys better be ready to play. I expect nothing less than UNC's best after being embarrassed at home. If this was last year's squad then I would be more worried, but this team has shown me so far that they take everyone seriously.
Also, Sam Rogers can't score a touchdown yet...the world isn't ready for it.

You know, it's sad when the feel I get from an article including coach and player quotes is that the player is more well-spoken in the media than the coach. He brushes off the coach's comments and says good things about his team, while the coach resorts to the tried and failed method of extensively badmouthing his players to the press.
If VT comes out and executes and hits UNC in the mouth a couple times in the 1st quarter, look to see the defense tuck their tails and for this UNC team to become a dumpster fire for the rest of the season. Leadership starts with the coach, and if he can't find a guy to step up and lead it's his fault IMO.
I hope LT3, SAM ROGERS and Edmunds turn him into a Boston Pancake.

UNC blaming sweat is like us blaming George Whitfield. That sweat, it'll get after ya.
UNC is a trap game, but it's a home game as well. I want our guys to go out there and just rip them a new one. I want our crowd to get in their head. Didn't Renner get injured last time he visited our house? Or was it the QB they had before Renner?
Here's what I hope happens through the course of the game:
Blocked kick (maybe for our TD?)
At least 2 ints - maybe one for a TD
At least 3 sacks
A Facyson TD, on D or O
A Sam Rogers TD
A Trey Edmunds long TD
Also, I will be at the game for the first time in a while, so the crowd had better be loud, and stay after Homecoming court is crowned...UNC is no cupcake team and will be playing with a chip on their shoulder...but we better not let them leave our house with a W.
I will enjoy seeing what the Hokies DL can do against the UNC line. GT's DL outside of Attaochu isn't anything to speak of, but we have 6 or so excellent DL and they can't double team everybody. This is gonna be a meet at the QB game for the DL and I hope they are able to come through.
Also: that moment when you get your first French response on TKP...
Yeah, with Nnadi (my favorite recruit in this class) and Walker, I wouldn't want to give Brown a sniff.

If we are getting pass rush on Renner, I will feel much much better. Their receivers will sometimes quit on routes (Ebron dogged a route early vs ECU and the safety beat him to the spot and picked it off) and there will be opportunities to get turnovers.
The guy that scares me is AJ Blue. He has been the most vocal leader, and while he isn't the starter, he had some real tough runs vs VT last year and is excellent catching traditional screens.
#TeamPie here....and you forgot French Silk and my personal favorite, Peach. Oh, and there's ala mode, too, so that offsets the Ice cream & cake argument.
And at some point, Bama will be on probation...
