Tell him to get his 2-way Facyson!
Best wishes for a quick recovery!
Seriously. In the beginning, poking occasional fun was entertaining, now I'm just like

Guess this will have to wait a little longer now with the government on a paid holiday!
Best of luck to him! Any word on how his brother is doing?
Best of luck to RVD in his recovery! Need him ready to roll next year.
From what I have heard, we were almost out of it for Settle until Stroman committed. I think he has been in his ear since then.
So here's what I'm thinking:
I've put in my time on NCAA, I think I'll submit my resume. If Paul Johnson can coach at the FBS level without playing college ball, dammit, so can I!
Don't worry, I'll bench any players that try to beat the Hokies, should the Trojans face them again.
DMX...a true literary genius
Good luck to RVD through the rehab and healing. We're pulling for you!
We currently have a total of 11 interceptions and Facyson has 4 of them. I'm personally concerned about moving our top interception producer to the offensive side of the ball. How long will it take for him to learn the routes and read the defenses?
Personally, I'd like to see Facyson stay in the secondary at let Exum work his way back to a starting job, if, and only if, he performs at, or better than, the same level he did last season.
Exum needs to do the following:
1) Stop
2) Drop
3) Shut them down.
4) Open up shop.
I was more hoping we would see the similarities in USC trying to duplicate past success by trying to hire a 'certain' type of coach. They thought Lane Kiffin would be the next Pete Carrol because they both worked together in the past and that failed miserably.
I remember when we were looking for a new OC and we only wanted a "ball control" type of guy or a VT connection hire, and I'm not sure that limiting our approach was the right way to get the BEST guy.
Most importantly I'm concerned that when Beamer leaves, we are going to settle for a guy because of his ties to the program or because his philosophy matches our taste buds. I think the game changes and we have to be prepared to approach the next chapter of our program's history looking forward and not backward. It's probably way too soon to be concerned about this but none the less...i'm concerned.
What is making them go with Facyson instead of Kendall to be the one who does double duty? I see they were both great at receiver in high school, but I thought they even went as far as promising Kendall he would see time on both sides?
Well he will be starter for the next 2 years (assuming he goes pro early.)
I remember him saying in the summer he wanted to play a bit on the offensive side of the ball. He is very committed to helping the team anyway he ca. He is a stand up guy and a true hokie. But at the same time I agree with French a few comments up. He is a true freshman and its way too much for the kid
This HD thing was funny for a while, but now it's just annoying. Kind of like the girl who posts a picture on facebook saying she's ugly for everyone to say she's pretty and validate herself.
We get it, we don't need a new thread every time there's a new article on ESPN mentioning us. 5-10 have been made in the past week alone.
That would be a thing of beauty.
Maybe even throw in Kendall there too. Wasn't he going to originally be the two way player anyway?
(On my knees, hands clasped, praying to Bud Foster) Please - God of Defense - please don't let the Powers that Be fuck with your defense. You guys are gelling like nobody could have ever expected. Please talk them out of making this horrible decision. It would be wonderful and idealistic if The Daycare was open for business right away, but there's some saying about a bird in the hand that isn't coming to me. Please Mr. Foster, don't let them do this.
That is EXACTLY what I was thinking!
I wonder how Brandon feels about this? I always over-analyze what people write on social media, but a picture he put up 8 hours ago said, "Prepared for the worst, but still praying for the best." Don't get me wrong, I love Antone Exum, but they need to find a way to put him in without changing where Facyson is at. I'm sure he's all for helping the team and he made that clear in the press conference the other day, but still... He's done nothing but prove himself. I wish there were a better way for to incorporate them both.
The kid certainly has the ability to make an impact at receiver, but he is a true freshman. He is balancing being a first year student, learning all the complexities of Bud Foster's weekly adjustments, and the nuance of each individual receiver he will be covering.
Now, you add route running, alignments, blocking assignment, and catching the ball. And, you have four wide receivers and a tight end who are all contributing and a fifth receiver that we spent all off season hearing how great he was waiting in the wings if someone isn't healthy.
I hated it when Macho tried it. I hate it more now.
Exum will probably be 100% healthy, but it will take time for him to trust his knee again. I think it'll be all mental for him, but I'd think it will take more than a few games for him to be back to his old self again. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised.

Given that he said he wants to be a heart surgeon, my guess is he stays in school and gets as much education as he can. That's good news for us!
