I'm just going to say this. Calling HD "Mama Giraffe" or "the neck" is condescending, demeaning and sexist. It's really not funny. I'm glad some of you are getting a kick out it, but seriously, why? What's the point of critiquing a female journalist based on her look? Would you do the same with a male journalist? Would you comment that a male journalist with a bald head looks like a turtle? Or maybe one with a long nose that looks like a bird? Probably not, because we don't judge men by their looks.

At 5'6", I'm not sure he's got the height to star as a down-field WR threat. But, if he's got game, you never know.

I tend to believe this is a case of winning cures all ills more than anything. Yeah of course it's a good thing for a team to be believing in each other rather than being down on themselves, but I think a lot has to do with expectations and going from 10+ wins last year to being proud of grinding out wins on a weekly basis this season.

That is what I was thinking. At certain programs you just have to have the right touch of luck and find the right players for the right coach at the right time. With today's ever evolving technology, teams like Alabama can become "dynasty" like because it is so easy to find the players that maybe you would have never looked at before and blend them in with the 5 stars and blue chip guys.

The difference in attitude from last year has been evident in every game this season. We could easily be 2-3 so far had the team not pulled together and finished in tough situations. It's nice to see leadership from the older guys this year, something they definitely lacked before.
Best of luck RVD! Anyone know why he waited so long to get surgery? His injury and diagnosis happened before Malleck's and Malleck got his surgery a couple weeks ago.
