Really great analysis (although that's become the standard here on TKP).
It was great to see Logan settling down and completing short passes on Saturday, especially given the lack of a running game or push up front from the O-line. The triangle concept that you discussed in previous articles and highlighted here looks almost impossible to defend, especially given how the ECU D was attacking the line of scrimmage. Lets just hope we can get the running game sorted out and rolling against Marshall.
I like this a lot. He's a starter mixed in with a bunch of starters along the DLine right now.
Loeffler getting a 30-yd TD pass after that timeout is also really telling; makes me think he's the right man for the job.
Logan had his best completion percentage since duke last year. We're making progress slowly but surely. I'll take it.
If we can work in a deep ball to Knowles that would be awesome. I really like what I'm seeing from Byrn and Stanford as well. We are close!
Anyone else notice that watch on her wrist? I'm not sure if its real or fake but it certainly is flashy. Either being a hostess pays well or she has some $$ from mom and dad...
Hopefully he recommitted himself like Collins did and we see a new man in 2014. I hope he can become the Million Dollar Man!
I feel smarter already.
I'll take a Logan 58% completion rate, any day. Some of those drives and throws looked downright excellent.
That was not how I was expecting that comment to be received.
Sam Rogers says "Boo!" and the ball jumps through the goal posts out of fear and reverence.
Unfortunately for us it's against the NCAA rules for Sam Rogers to kick for us because of "competitive balance". It appears the only way to have an unfair advantage is to 1) be in the SEC and pay players or 2) commit recruiting violations.
It requires some mildly complex MySQL statements to an area of the code I'm not 100% familiar with.
You lost me at "It requires"
Shane was on TTL last night and said that the recruits and players like wearing the different uniform combinations. He said that one stop he's always sure to make with a recruit when he's on campus is to the equipment room so they can see the uniforms. IIRC he said that a number of recruits liked the military appreciation unis we wore last year.
Not sure how you can not like QB talent you have not seen? ;-/
I nearly spit out the waffles I was eating. Well done.
Sam Rogers said Exum is allowed to have a sixth year. Mark Emmert was too afraid to make any public statements afterwards.
If we were an SEC school, I'm sure that NCAA rule wouldn't be enforced.
The Coastal is really The Tech Division. Miami fans say they're "back" which means they'll slip up and likely lose to UVA. UNC just isn't the same team as last year. I see the Hokies out for some vengeance against both teams.
That being said, playing GT on a short week, with our offense still not firing on all cylinders frightens me. Special Teams and Defense may very well be what decides if we win or lose.
Good to know, thanks AB. I had assumed that Beamer knew some sort of loophole to magically formulate a sixth year for Exum. Alas.
Lost 3 percentage points since I've been up this morning. Sitting at 53 Hokie, 47 Sparty. Must...not...lose....
Bump
The cavs on the local show (aired right before TTL) were already talking like they had beat them. It's the Hoos' Military Appreciation Game, and they so graciously decide to schedule a military school in the hopes that they can show they can give one opponent the beat-down...
haha, to boost the defense. Not sure the defense needs too much boosting at this point.
Really a neg turkey leg for this post? Out of control!
I never saw your original post, but turkey leg for realizing the error of your ways and correcting it.

I love these. It would be very nice if the run game comes back, then TDs in the red zone would be back, too.
