Ah, of course! Not seeing the game live is killing me. I did catch the highlight, though, so no excuses really. Thanks for reminding me. A turkey leg for catching my omission.
I think it definitely helps our chances that we'll only have to be top 4 instead of top 2 after this season
I play a little of everything, though the classics (Hendrix, Zeppelin, Clapton, etc) are my favorites. Been listening to DMB for as long as I can remember, so that's influenced my acoustic moods.
My main axe is a Fender Strat through a Marshall Valvestate (tube/solid state hybrid). I have a Takamine 12-string and a fairly vanilla Yamaha 6-string.
I'm always happy to talk music with other musicians. I've been playing for about 14 years or so, though I rarely have time. I developed my best chops in high school and early college, then the realities of a time-consuming major and grad school and a real job afterwards took over. I still try to find a bit of time to play, but not nearly as much as I'd like.
My wife said Wang got no push up the middle. I giggled like Beavis.
Did it look like ECU flooded the zone running plays? Instead of getting upfield, they just scraped down the line looking for the tailback. Also, I saw few counters and designed backside zones.
Duly noted and turkeyed.
don't forget that safety either. hell of a game for the D
Can a gif/Photoshop guru put a football helmet on him for some pussy touchdowns?
You know, every time I see you I mean to ask what you play, and what kind of guitar do you have.
I'm a player as well, ...somewhat, been playing for about 5 years now. Just bought myself a Taylor
Granted Myer made 4 FGs to GET to OT...outcome might not have been any better with CJ.
I have said it before and I'll say it again until I'm purple in the face and pass out: Facyson is my favorite player. He has been my favorite ever since it was announced he wanted to be a heart surgeon. How could you not pull for a kid like that?
Thank you! I'm out of town and had to DVR the game and I won't be able to watch it for another couple of days. Getting to enjoy the highlights (despite the lousy wifi at the hotel) just hours after the game finished was awesome.
Thanks so much for posting this. I was unable to watch the first half and now I'm caught up to how we scored plus some other big plays.
He won't leave before he gets that million dollar retention bonus.
Without the benefit of film yet, while he had some iffy moments early, I suspect two other hawgbodies had rougher games. Maybe more.
I think it's more of figuring out what works with the players we have. Some things have worked, some have not. Since the triple option was effective when used, I think we may be seeing it more when ACC play rolls around.
Well Janikowski is legitimately awesome. Accurate and long ranged. I guess my point is that if you're going to be a kicker who is a problem off the field, you'd better be amazing...
That has got to be one of the toughest things ever to accomplish, wet pussy...
Maybe it's just me, but it seems we've seen a different offensive philosophy in each game so far. Do you think the coaches are just testing everything out while we've got the "easy" games on the schedule? That could explain why we're not seeing option, certain passing situations, certain players, etc.
edit: also the classic 'not showing our hand before ACC play'. It helped that we actually had the lead and a great defensive performance...the last two weeks, they could stick to the game plan, if that in fact was the case.
What a game by the D. 7 sacks, 11 TFL, 3 INT, and only 30 yards allowed in the second half. Insane.
We still have Miami, which will be tough, they'll be highly ranked when we play them. Add that and Clemson, plus consistent wins and I could see it. I'm not saying its definite, but crazier things have happened.
Collins, too, played a heck of a game.
Another pro was that the receivers where getting open and CATCHING passes! Logan was on point, but I only was able to watch 2nd half since my son played a game at noon. His team lost though. Oh well, Go Hokies!
From Bitter:
The Hokies had seven sacks -- two each by Gayle and Collins, 1.5 by Edwards, one by Tyler and a half of one by Derrick Hopkins.
AJs having a MUCH BETTER day than 2 weeks ago huh.

Fair enough, I'm just saying in a tight game we were missing our kicker because he's an idiot.
