Danny Coale said pillars last year as well.
How perverted. You will get a teaser horse instead!
Funny you say that...
Friday night we are in Ireland. In a pub, of course. Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are all playing their next to last qualifying match for the World Cup. Had someone ask me who I was rooting for. In Ireland, it sure as heck isn't any of the other 4! Almost had a chance to get tix to the Scotland game but the timing with the flight didn't work. Sitting in a pub will work just fine. And yes, I will wear anyone out that's not wearing Maroon and Orange on Saturday!
+1 for a good post here. I'm not in 100% agreement with you but you have some good points and it is good for us to be brought down to earth once in awhile.
Miami in 2011 was by far his best game, I don't think there is a doubt about that. He has had some other games where he played well (i.e. UVA 2011) but you're right, consistent is not a word I would necessarily associate with Logan Thomas.
But to defend him a little bit, he had a guy calling plays that:
1) Gave him little to no freedom on the field to make is own decisions
2) Had no idea what direction he wanted to take the offense in
3) Changed out RBs every posession so that they couldn't get in a groove
4) Consistantly put him in situations where he had to pass so the defense was ready for it.
Logan also had some issues with receivers dropping balls and an O-Line that rarely gave him enough time to complete a pass.
I'm not saying all those issues will be fixed this year, but some will, especially with Loeffler at the helm. So yes, chances are that Logan doesn't light the world on fire Saturday night, but I think there will be improvement. But for us to have any chance at all to win this game, Logan needs to have a Miami-like game.
So forgive me if I'm being naive, but I'd rather believe Logan is going to come out and light it up giving us every chance to win that game than think on the negatives and toss this one up to a loss already.
The emotion of the second one would be tough to deal with, but a reminder of what VT (and any other team) is playing for: relevancy. If you lose to Bama close, you're relevant again.
They did. Auctioned them right after.
I'm not sure there's a better alternative for VT short of sneaking Duane Brown and Blake DeChristopher onto the team and hoping no one notices.
Not at all....
I hate losing.
Both would hurt, but for me A would be worse. At least we would know that Tech is legit if B does happen.
After KennyHokie and HokeFan4Life of course
As a card carrying member of the #ALLMAROONEVERYTHING club, I do have to say, IF they do these correctly, I could buy in. I still think we need to go #ALLMAROONEVERYTHING for this game, but I'll take a non-god awful uni as the #2 option.
Dock that Wahoo 3 Zimas for forgetting that Mike London used to be a cop.
Haha, thanks for posting this. I had completely forgotten about ALABAAAAYUMMA MAAYUUN!
I think the answer here is simple, I'd much prefer option B.
Yes, I would walk out of the stadium heartbroken and probably wanting to do nothing more than some Bama fan's RV on fire but at the end of the day, if we're in a position to win that game in the fourth quarter, not to mention late in the fourth quarter, then we must of done something really really good.
That's NOT what she said.
It's.... it's not the size that counts....
Please, my friend, get out of the house once in a while. It's for your own good.
God I wish they had sold these... I would rock this at all my kids' functions -if only to irritate the wife.
Probably the first time anyone was glad to see a little wang

Seriously, I was about to ask if it could get any worse but I'm afraid to...
