And no, I dont think being 0-1 is going to make people think its the second straight unsuccessful season. If we lose, but dont get blown out, people will get all excited about the turn around (and rightfully so). Seriously, when was the last time other than last year we didnt start out 0-1?

As long as we dont incur major injuries, nothing that happens against bama is going to hurt us, only help us. What happens the rest of the year may change the fan base's perspective toward negative if things go south, but the Bama game wont.

Love the optimism, but Cyrus Kouandjio is arguably the best player on that team and I'm including Cooper, Yeldon, Mosley and McCarron. J.R. and Dadi are great, but they have a pretty big challenge going up against a probable top-10 and potential top-3 NFL draft pick. Left tackle is the biggest strength of this line.

The letters were multiple sizes unlike in the depiction (similar to the old style). In addition, the letters were LARGE. Those smaller letters were about waist height, but the letters that composed the HOKIES were easily over 7 feet tall each, I've got a picture of the S in Hokies and it is big. Although there were some pieces that looked like they may later hold pictures, currently they were entirely white and placed right next to the letters. Since they have a special finish on them, I sort of doubt that they'd add pictures to the scoreboard, but they may just keep them white like currently..

In a turn around I think performance will be determined more by the players than the coaching. I have faith it will look a lot better even if it takes a while to get good results.
