Never heard...what time?
Love that the team is taking on a "we're ready to meet this challenge" kind of mentality, setting lofty goals for themselves. I would love for Virginia Tech to be back at the top in terms of rankings for total defense, Turnover margin, as well as the important rankings (the top 25)... Can't wait for Saturday.
Let's get it, Hokies!
Good looking quotes in that piece. I hope they can back it up on the field.

But the renderings have "Home of the Hokies" on the back? I guess the only thing not in the know is whether or not they will add the images.

"Maybe its my background, coming from wrestling with [Tech] coach [Kevin] Dresser," center Andrew Miller said. "And one of his main sayings is Never take a backseat to anybody. And thats something I never do. Thats embedded in my heart. In my heart, Im never going to take a backseat."
I dont think anybodys really intimidated," linebacker Jack Tyler said. "Footballs football. I think everybodys here for a reason. They wanted to play primetime college football. And thats what this games going to be. And everyones excited for it. I dont think I see intimidation in anyones eyes. I think I see a dog thats ready to pounce and to win a game.
This is why I think Saturday could shock some people.
you should already get labor day off...I'd be pretty surprised if you didn't.
Just wait until Weaver sells the game to Dan Snyder so it will be played in FedEx. Then there will be rage.
(Being a CE from Tech gets even better...but that's pretty sweet!)
The U is back.

I'm in 128 too. I really wanted to be in 126 so I could heckle the Alabama fan section.
Popping my TKP cherry with a Six Pick:
North Carolina at South Carolina -11.5: USC. O/U on "That's a Clowney tackle, bro" tweets: 15,000.
Ole Miss -3.5 at Vanderbilt: Ole Miss. Youtube it.
Alabama -19.5 vs Virginia Tech: Bammer, although this is the epitome of an R. Kelly situation. My mind is telling me nooo. But my body! My body is telling me yeeeaaassss.
Georgia at Clemson +1.5: Clemson. Aaron Murray went to my wife's high school. My wife's high school friends are, for the most part, awful.
LSU vs TCU +4.5: TCU. Tough one for me. This seems like the kind of game Les Miles lives for, yet I could easily see him going for it on 4th and 8 up 2 with 3 minutes left thinking it was third down.
Boise State +3.5 at Washington: Boise. As BCO put it, Boise will win because it's what they do.
Nice, I got tickets from and Alabama Alum and I am right next door in section 127 I believe.
We need an insider. How about someone on campus befriends an employee of the Virginia Tech Tailor Shop over on Stanger Street? They mainly work with the Corps but I've heard in the past that all jerseys go through them.
I understand that there are considerations that must be made by the AD and department in terms of the uniform designs, color, logos, etc. Whether they are relevant or not, I understand that they are made.
But is it really that damn hard to just go All Maroon and get after it Weaver?
I'm really looking forward to finding something that works..and then NOT getting away from it...
Why we did that in the past always blew my mind
I'm just hoping to be able to recognize a coherent strategy to the play design and play calling. You know? Something along the lines of an attempt at a coordinated plan of attack, instead of the monkey f***ing a football approach we so often seemed to have in the past, especially for big time opponents.
Update: Somehow we managed to all clutch tickets in the same section, and also relatively close together in section 128. At least that much....
From what I've heard, there may or may not be a hook and ladder play in the playbook...
Even with no real game action and only an offseason of work they can't be worse than we were before. Thank god I will no longer have to see us line up in the I-formation and run a play-action every single time.

What makes u say that
