I don't think he does either, but if he can simplify the position to blitzing / run support / covering TEs it may be worth it for Alabama.

Agreed - I think we'll have more options for ACC play and we'll obviosly be playing Kendall in the nickle for spread teams and passing downs.

But, Alabama is going to try to maul us and I think we'll need a bigger, physical body there. We'll see.

I'm thinking this is how it'll likely shake out by the time we take the field against Bama:

Kyle at Whip
Logan Thomas at Place Kicker
Facyson working at Dunkin Donuts (part time)
AJ Huges at QB
Wyatt Teller replaces Goforth as Assistant Director of Athletics for Athletic Training
Wang at RB
DJ Coles at long snapper
Dadi at WR

WHAT IS HAPPENING?!!! FUCK!!!

Nope. Same across the bored. If your scared day your scared lol

Bama fan has infiltrated our safe haven.

By infiltrated I mean made an account in. By safe haven I mean awesome site.

The only thing is, we need a guy with decent coverage skills because of the ACC teams that run a spread offense. I'm interested in what Dadi could do there against Bama as a normal OLB, but we definitely need a guy with coverage skills come ACC play. I also don't think Bud teaches a player a new position for just one game.

Shouldn't this be under a Wang thread somewhere?

The payoff should be equal to the odds. Since bama is such a big favorite and Hokie injuries are piling up, bama fans have to do something way more demeaning than VT fans. It is probably a 80% chance of a bama win so that is four times the VT chance. A fair bet is 4 to 1.

who is physically capable of consistently tackling TJ Yeldon and quick enough to cover TEs on play action?

Dadi Nicolas was the first guy that came to mind. The dude is a defensive end that runs a 4.5 and is getting work as a gunner on punt returns.

Don't know whether to upvote in agreement, or downvote for psychological trauma.

Other possibilities:

- Tyrel Wilson or Dadi play whip just for Alabama.
- Tariq Edwards slides over to whip and Deon Clarke steps up at Backer.

I really think we need to have a big attacking front in ATL to have any success slowing down TJ Yeldon. I'm not sure Detrick Bonner or The Fuller Bros are big and physical enough, as good as open field tacklers as they are. After watching Bama highlights, there Guards and Center get to the second level in a hurry and I think they will gobble up anyone who weights south of 215 lbs.

A wins a win for me so I'm good without the spread!

ugh...i read all this before going to bed last night and was hoping it would have been a dream

ugh

No worries, we've still got Logan.

I am happy that I am not the only one that does this too!
