Thank you for that! And good game to you also :)

Well then I guess this would be an appropriate place to put this. Seth28 got the flag and the hat (I'm assuming that guy is your interpreter, seth28). Here it is, a prouder picture I've never seen

flaghanistan

You would be wrong. I would make the the same bet with any team we play. Made a smilier bet for the nation championship game against ND

In that case. Welcome to TKP man. Here's to a good game sir. And thank you for your service. :)

Lol :)

what we fail to see here is that this was here just 3 and a half years ago..

I'm in favor of a half game suspension. We will need some fresh legs in the second half.

The RVD injury is huge for Aug 31st, but Foster and Co. should be fine once they reach the ACC schedule. Bama is the only team that can physically push the D-line and LBs to the point of exhaustion. I don't think Kyle or Kendall are big enough to handle that physical toll. Bama now has a huge hole to exploit in addition to Freshman corners. Foster is good, but so are the Alabama coaches. We'll see how this goes...

Our defense really struggled the early part of last year because of lack of playmaking at the whip and rover position. When we played Michael Cole, we just weren't good. Hopefully we avoid a similar situation this year.

I don't think it will actually happen, but it's fun to think about. As Joe mentioned on another thread, with the season starting in 2 weeks, teaching someone with no experience how to play whip isn't really an option; there's just not enough time. I think ideally, Trimble or Dinardo step up and play at a high level. I don't really know much about either guy, but I have no reason to believe they can't. The fewer positions we have to shuffle, the better, imo.

All this means is somebody else is going to have to step up. I have a felling our defense will score at least one td in the bama game and create short fields for our offense. We will be fine.

One more injury to a DB, and he'd likely be starting Aug 31st. Really surprised he decided to call it quits.

The first step towards healing is admitting you have a problem. But that would only be the case if owning hundreds of VT shirts was a problem.

Yes, i have a feeling he doesn't do this when they play lsu or tamu.

I'm ready to not see this anymore...therapy is expensive.

I can't speak to his football IQ, every position at the college level has a learning curve, but Foster definitely places more of a mental burden on the Whips. Dadi might be able to grasp the mental parts, but not in a couple of weeks. I think time is a major factor here. Also, Dadi is pushing J.R. for the starting spot opposite Gayle.

I think Foster might have an easier time fitting another LB to Whip in his 4-4 look especially if he can scheme to limit the Whip's pass responsibilities.

AJ's twitter bio does say that he's our 4th down QB

I counted mine a couple years ago and had 71 at the time... and have gotten more since. I think I have a problem.

If it is a friendly wager then the stakes are low and mostly symbolic. A real wager will make you sweat and think twice. If this is a friendly wager then not so much of a big deal. Still, a straight up wager on this game is easy from a bama point of view. Not much risk.

As hard as Tech's recruited Whip these past few years, two walk-ons, Josh Trimble and Derek DiNardo, are the top guys respectively on the depth chart. French and Mason will both be at Saturday's scrimmage, and they'll be focussing on each of their play. I wonder if Dahman McKinnon or Devin Vandyke will temporarily slide outside to Whip.

I know everyone here is unsettled about the defense. I was too until I realized something: We have Bud Foster as our defensive coordinator. The defense has had debilitating injuries in past and the majority of the time, Bud has figured out a way to make it work. If any defensive coordinator can make our defense successful, it's Bud Mother Fucking Foster.

Just like all of the potheads I know, in Bud I Trust.
