I was at this game, it was my freshman year. I remember it being sooooo freakin cold, and it was also the most dominant we have ever looked.

Why not?

From what I understand the ocain and steinspring were calling plays for Logan to run but not allowing any offensive adjustment. When Logan would stop, back out from under center and stare at the sideline, that was a coach either telling him go run the play or audible and if it was an audible, the play was also spelled out. Logan was given no opportunity to read the defense, no opportunity to move receivers etc. Logan, conceivably, could see that the defense was lined up perfectly to counter his play and couldn't do one thing about it. It was silly...but this looks like a good start in the right direction.

Getting autographs is completely fine. Manziel sat down and had autograph sessions that would be used for profits. There is a difference between asking a player for his autograph because you are wearing his jersey vs. sitting down hundreds of mini helmets to sign and sell.

I've got autographs of from all the coaches in 2011 on a limited edition painting as well as a football autographed by Exum, Gayle, and Logan. I nearly got about 20 other signatures on it because it's really not that hard to get autographs. Regardless, those are for my personal collection to be displayed in my VT man cave alongside helmets, pieces of Hokie Stone, and other various memorabilia.

In the game against the Titans DT looked like he was doing allright rushing, holding contain, dropping into coverage. Titans didn't go at him much to test him.

We've definitely had players from here in the past, just not many on our list of targets this year. I'll keep an eye on Little though as well.

This gem: "I think its going to make or break the offense, honestly," McCray. "They move us. And I think it causes a lot of mismatches. I think the whole concept of the offense is to be able to move people around, make it so you can put one of your better players on one of their worst or weaker players, and just make mismatches how you want them and not allow the defense to pick and choose."

What a concept. If the offense wasn't doing this in the past, why not?

Autographs have become so impersonal I would say they're something other than they used to be. While not cheap nor available, autographs should have a decent value to both player and fan, demonstrating the relationship of the university and the player but not a third party that pumps up the price. Now more than ever the 5* player is told how great he is, and let's face it, how great his autograph is worth to recruiters. I wish we could explain how great the Hokie Way is without a simile to the other programs, but I just come back to Billdozer and 3rd&31's video. The Hokie Way is to play hard and to let the rest sort itself out later on. Or at least I hope so because I've had too much bourbon. At least until the season starts....

I fully expect Tyrod to be #2 behind Flacco. Tyrod showed a solid air attack in addition to his already established running ability. I can't say I want Flacco to be injured, but I would be curious as to how Tyrod would handle a starting role.

Getting 'paid autographs' will get you in trouble, so what won't get your top star looked at for his signature? Logan had his Hancock sold on the same site as Manziel (I really am sorry to say), but I personally prefer Alumni autographs to current players. Macho Harris, Royal, RU, Flowers etc. at least in my mind as (a 08-12) student play a huge part in my rooting for what Hokie Football, and at least Tyrod came to my favorite team in the Ravens, but I'm glad no one so far got caught up in the national spotlight in the autograph spotlight. Just hope no coaches and boosters get looked at

My opinion on D-Hall is this. When he's on a winning team, he's one of the best teammates and has the heart of a champion. When he's on a losing team, he's a me-first, play hard one play, take-off another, unsportstman-like A-hole. He was at his best when he was on the Hokies and at his worst when he was on the Raiders (after a huge payday). He wasn't the best guy to have around the Skins in 2008 - 2011, but really turned it around in 2012. This offseason pay-cut showed that he's putting the team before his personal goals. I wish him the best and hope he retires with his home-team gracefully. #HTTR

I can't stand it when a guy goes on and on after essentially doing what he's paid to do - catch, tackle, pass breakup, what have you.
But I have noticed that Hall is the guy on D (and the secondary especially) that shows his teammates that you don't back down from another player getting in your face and if someone gets in a tussle, he's always there to back up his guys. He's not winning any sportsmanship ESPY's, but he does show a mental toughness that was definitely lacking since Darrell Green retired.

That 05 GT game was even better because they were ranked #15 and we had the gameday crew in town.
And if I remember correctly both of the INT's were returned to north endzone where chaos ensued.

Agree with you on two things. First, Montana fans are awesome. And the wolfpack piss me off to no end. That stupid dog thing they do is my least favorite part about being in the ACC. Even worse than "the u"

I'm sure he's implying the other 1,233 will be Caramount fans :)
