this....without any discussion. I could talk about this game all day, but from start to finish, this was an absolute beat down of epic proportions. I had to tape the game because i was on vacation and was driving back during the game. I started watching it at 1 in the morning after getting back, and was FURIOUS that ESPN switched off to another game when it was 55-0 and I couldn't see the finish. The fact that my boss is a Syracuse alum was the icing on the cake.

I'm still pretty new to this site, but if I could have my way, every member here, and every player and coach on the team would be required to watch this 10 times a day, every day, from now until @BEATBAMA. If our boys could bring 1/2 of this intensity & Hokie Mojo against Bama, we're golden.............

I do too. Motley actually looked pretty good in the practice/scrimmage last weekend.

I dont think Leal is going out quietly. JuJu did a lot to help the team (in terms of beating Davis out for backup and allowing him to transfer to WR where he was needed), but didn't look nearly as good as Leal has in scrimmages or mop up time.

Not saying Leal starting is a certainty, but he is very accurate and knows the system. If he had a bit more arm strength, him starting next year would almost be guaranteed.

The Fredericksburg/Stafford area has had some good prospects the last few seasons. Shegog (VT), Mihota (VT), Hamilton (PSU), Moss (UVA), Taraschke (VT), Smiling (VT), Scott (UNC), Marshall (Duke), Holmes (Duke) and you could even toss in Torrey Smith of the Ravens in there too. Hopefully more to come in the future. Especially from Riverbend... and yes I am still sad about Taraschke. Had classes with him in HS and was pumped about the idea of knowing someone starting for VT but oh well.

If you go see a Ponax game, aside from Mihota, you should watch http://247sports.com/Player/Gus-Little-31596 . He only has an offer from ODU so far, but he has good size and I believe is a VT legacy and according to his 247 profile, has us as his favorite.

That could be entirely true. I just assume at this point they'd assume the RS-SR would be more polished than a RS-FR, but Bucky could have the better measurables. Or Leal goes the JuJu route and simply graduates at the end of the year. Then in the first scenario then it would be Motley probably at 3rd string, otherwise it would be Motley and Ford competing for the backup. (In my mind at least)

I love football in that area, I'm gonna miss it living in NOVA now. I graduated in 2009. Never played football, I stuck to baseball but was definitely there every Friday. My dad even did the games on the radio for awhile.
