LMAO! very funny Blue Collar. I'm just a friendly girl, that's all. ;)

Where do you see that? The only place I find when doing a ctrl-F for "Virginia Tech University" says this:

Those covering Hokie athletics are
asked to refer to the university as simply
Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech University,
VPI and SU, VPI&SU, Vah Tech, VT or
VA Tech are not recognized names and
should not be used

Thanks. It's a pretty cool video if I can make it look good. I got the North Endzone with their white light things they had jumping up and down. That stadium is unbelievable loud on field level.

I wonder about the "median ticket price" metric, and if they take into account the donor levels required for certain seats. The vast majority of seats in Lane sell for $50/game, but to get decent seats you have to donate thousands annually, meaning you're paying hundreds per game, essentially. I also wonder how our system compares to other schools.

you two need to get a room ;)

I'm pretty sure such ENHANCE!ments are only possible in the crime shows, but anyone can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

EDIT: Looks like Billdozer corrected me before I hit "Post" on my own reply. Oh well.

Sony Vegas does a solid job of up-converting low quality footage. Really comes in handy when a particular play I want isn't available in HD. If the footage is really shaky, then Adobe After Effects has some tools to smooth it out.

Some insight on Wade Hansen: Played in eight games ... Recorded 45 tackles including 21 unassisted ... Has the team high tackles for a loss (9.5-57 yards) and sacks (6.5-50 yards) ... Team Defensive Player of the Week (9/22) ... All-Liberty League Defensive Second Team

I have no idea if the Liberty League is strong from a DIII perspective. The traditional powers are Mount Union, Wisconsin Whitewater (Ohio and Wisconsin Conferences) and the champions have been one of those two teams, with a Texas school (Trinity, Mary-Hardin Baylor) slipping in. The last team to get to the Finals outside of that group were those yellow dogs from Bridgewater in 2001. RPI was a below .500 team that gave up 24.5 points a game, so even though the film is impressive, I am not sure where this kid fits in. Will he be on scholarship?

quick replies to your comments:

1) Using the side silhouette from flag before was my first thought too, but it really didn't scream Hokies. So I created the Exum silhouette which would be more recognizable.
2) SWAG1 can be tossed. I am cool to add "Tone loves the kids" on the back instead.
3) Regarding NCAA issues: Colors seem like should be OK, but calling the centaur "EXUMtaur" would probably be an issue as it uses his name specifically.

So see the update at bottom of the thread. Maybe you will like it better. (With the change to SWAG1 in mind)

Honestly, it seems like a pretty reasonable list, according to their metrics. If you are going to include size of stadiums and number of fans, then the B1G and SEC schools are going to come out on top for the most part. The only surprising teams to me were USCw and Missouri. I really doubt that USC had full stadiums these past few years and their fans are extremely fair-weather. Missouri just doesn't seem to have a fanbase that I would associate with a ranking like this, but whatevs.

Oh man...I just cracked up at my desk here at work. Bahahaha! Horse got jokes!

Exumtaur FTW. Still a big fan of the logo you had on the flag, with the side silhouette of the Exumtaur. Agree with everyone else, though, that if the colors and style are a problem, leaving the "1" on the jersey should be fine. I don't think we need the SWAG1 though, I've not bought into the phrase. What about having the 'Tone loves the kids' on the other sleeve or across the bottom of the back?

FSU just picked up a 4* DT, this will be their 3rd commitment. I think this plays in our favor for Nnadi. Last I heard its between us and FSU, and with them now stacked, should be a simple decision.

You should have replaced "Army" with "Navy" on the shirts...

Here's a simpler option. I like it better actually. Anyway, last one before going to sleep. Let me know if you have any suggestions, or if you prefer previous ones.

However, according to the 2013 Media guide "Virginia Tech University" is acceptable in Media outlets. Only "VT", "Vah Tech" and "VA Tech" are frowned upon. But I agree, VPI>VTU.

...on a treadmill. Ut Prosim!

as long as exum doesnt profit from them, i dont see why it would be a violation. i mean why should someone profit from their own likeness? makes no sense, that ncaa has it right.

and i would totally buy one of these

edit: supposed to be responding to your above comment about exum's silhouette. stellar work good sir
