My takeaways:
1. Right Tackle is their weak spot on the line. We need to exploit this.
2. We need to disrupt the hell out of their passing game. McCarron is solid, and he's got plenty to work with.
3. Direct more of our plays towards Dickson's side rather than Hubbard's.
4. If we're gonna throw deep ( I hope we don't have to), we need to throw at Geno Smith's side, especially if that's the same side of the field as Sunseri.

#LOLUVa probably would top the list of least-engaged fans. Seriously, how many of their undergrads even know how to get to Lane Stadium - North?

That's ok. I feel like the "whole effinshow" will make many more highlights to wipe some sours out of the mouth.

pretty sure you cant use them as promotional items, NCAA sees this as having monetary value I believe. See club using Kam Chancellor image (w/o his consent) for promotional party a few years back

I think the key is to make references to Exum with out actually using his likeness. However the t-mobile shirts were done seemed to be ok. I remember seeing those all the time when I was in school, but dont remember their specificis

Multifaceted question for French. You mentioned the Rover always plays against the passing strength. However, the offense can easily swap the passing strength with simple motion. 1. How does this affect the formation of the 4-4 (do the Rover and Whip swap sides)? 2. Due to the nature of Foster's flow defense, how effective has motion been to create a weaknesses against the defense?

If VT defenders do swap sides, it seems a late motion would cause chaos at the time of the snap, preventing the defense to fill their gaps effectively. If the defenders do not swap sides, it would seem the offense could use the weakness of the Rover and or Whip to create obvious mismatches.

Thanks again French. Your football I.Q. is remarkable.

Yeah, I hear this. I don't want to get anywhere near his eligibility. So I think the nonspecific centaur is safe. As well as all the cartoon kids with hair to match the players. The question of using "Tone" anywhere on the shirt is still open, unless we have a silhouette centaur saying 'Don't take that tone with me!' to a crowd of screaming WR caricatures. Definitely get in touch with the compliance guy before selling any. But does it matter if they're made and not sold? Given away, aka promotional items?

Im hoping its not just impossible to track, as that would imply some wrong doing which I really dont want for Exum's sake.

That said, creating your own shirt from a fan made image should be ok (but Im no legal expert). I'd assume it would be the same as this: you can hire a company to paint a huge VT on your back patio, but a company couldnt sell a patio painted with a VT without licensing rights.

Maybe just use his number and silhouette. Write out One and One.......... Makes Seven. That way he can buy it as well. People wore T-mobile shirts all while I was in school. Hell, Marcus had a Superman symbol made with the 5 as the S haha.

Video is not showing up for me, but I found the link. To embed a YouTube video, click "Share" below the video, then "Embed" and copy the HTML code directly here.

now the question is this. What would happen if a high quality picture of the graphics used were posted... and then people made the shirts for themselves using whatever custom tshirt vendor they like (millions of them online)? I dont think releasing fan art is against any rules...

nope, cant use likeness to promote events or items either

Kam Chancellor almost got in a lot of trouble with this, but the NCAA determined the club using his likeness did so without his permission. With Exum tweeting, it is clearly not the case. I'd be careful with the Swag1 reference too, but not sure if that one would matter

edit: someone quoted the rules below

right, that block was huge! my favorite part of that video may be the stiff arm by the auburn rb. grown man strength

It wouldn't surprise me if he voluntarily keeps his salary low (relative to other coaches at least) for the betterment of the program. I think I remember hearing/reading that Dabo Sweeney took a pay cut so he could bring Chad Morris in.
